Jason Derule is of course known for being a singer, but his career seems to lend itself
to some very online moments too.
From his signature vocal, to that banned instagram selfie he had, his latest thing is tiktok
and he's killing it.
It's also hard to miss the castle like mansion he shows off in his tiktoks, whether it's
that lavish pool, or the gorgeous custom design in every room.
We'll be giving you all the details on the Tarzana Palace Jason calls home, his previous
place in Coconut Creek, and more.
We even found the listings.
Jason Derule is a singer, songwriter and dancer who has sold over 30 million singles since
the start of his solo career back in 2009.
Not to mention, 11 of those singles went platinum.
He used to produce records for other artists, and wrote songs for the likes of Birdman,
Lil Wayne and Diddy.
He signed to a minor label and broke out on his own.
Whatever he did, it worked, and his mansion is proof that he's made it.
Although he's purchased the property as a bachelor pad quite a few years ago, after
breaking up with ex Jordan Sparks, these days he has a new lady keeping him company.
His girlfriend Jenna Froome decided to move in when the global pandemic hit, and they've
been loving self-isolating together.
A source said,
Jason and Jenna hadn't been together too long before the lockdown started, but they
decided to take the plunge, and they are loving it.
She's even had a starring role in Jason's tiktoks, which he's been making a killing
from while being forced to stay home during quarantine.
His videos have been a big hit with fans, whether he's eating corn off a drill, dancing,
or even floating, and he's amassed over 26 million followers on the platform.
Apparently Jason's also amassed an estimated net worth of over 15 mil, but I'm sure with
his TikTok money that number is only growing up.
Hey guys, it's Kara and today we're doing another house tour here on Famous Entertainment.
I got some requests for this one, so today we're going to be looking at the castle Jason
Derulo calls home in Tarzana, as well as his other properties.
If you watch his tiktoks, I'm sure the place will look super familiar.
If you like these videos, make sure you're subscribed and ring that bell to be notified
when we post so you can always be up to date.
We've also done house tours in the likes of Rick Ross and YouTubers like CJ So Cool,
and we'll link to some at the end.
Follow me on Instagram to chat, and as usual, let me know whose house tour is next in those
comments down below.
Now let's get into this video.
Ok before we get into his current spot, let's look at where the star used to live.
Prior to California living, Jason actually called Coconut Creek home.
If you're wondering, Coconut Creek is a city in Broward County, Florida, about 35
miles from Miami.
I just really like that name, Coconut Creek.
Anyways, records show Jason paid 1.75 million for the home back in 2012, and then sold it
in 2016 for 1.9 million, since he'd already moved on to his California home by then.
Although the price he sold it for doesn't sound extravagant, it was the second highest
price sell in the neighbourhood at the time.
His previous home sat on 2.3 acres of land in the sunny state, and inside spanned a massive
11,000 square feet of space with 7 beds and 9 baths.
Built in 2009, it looks like the mansion is on the market again, with a listing stating
it now comes fully furnished and move-in ready for the next buyer.
The majestic home overlooks the Adios golf course, and it's close to shopping centres,
tropical beaches, sports arenas, and everything else you can imagine.
One of the most unique features of the property is that half of it is considered a nature
preserve.
Walking into the U-shaped mansion, you're greeted with a massive double height entry
with a ton of windows letting in natural light.
Right away, the foyer opens to the impressive 2 story family room or great room, with more
windows and a balcony from the upper level overlooking the space.
The home offers an open floor plan with common rooms flowing into one another, including
another den or living room, and a private dining room for special dinner celebrations.
There's a more casual eat-in area and the spacious kitchen, which is all granite topped
and has state-of-the-art appliances.
The master suite here, which Jason used to occupy, has marble floors and high ceilings,
offering enough space for an additional seating area.
The attached marble bath is super spacious with a Jacuzzi tub and leads you into the
walk-in closet.
Other features of his previous Coconut Creek mansion include an office, a gorgeous glass
enclosed games room on the upper level with pool table and bar, and even a mirrored dance
studio which I'm sure Jason put to use.
Outside, you'll find the resort-style backyard with ample patio space to lounge and enter
and retain guests.
There's also an outdoor kitchen, bar, and 50 foot pool and spa with waterfall.
If that's not enough, there's also a detached guest house turned recording studio right
next to the pool.
Of course, Jason's Coconut Creek Oasis was fully gated and private with an electric entrance
ensuring complete security.
The rest of the 2 acre plus property was covered in lush greenery and also had a 4 car garage.
So of course you know after unloading his Coconut Creek mansion, Jason moved on to California.
In fact, purchased his current home back in 2014 before he even got rid of the Florida
place since he was newly single and in search of a bachelor pad.
And let me tell you, he found quite the home for a fresh start.
Looking just like it stepped out of a fairy tale, Jason's current mansion has a castle
style, Tudor inspired exterior with turrets and stained glass windows.
Honestly, it sounds like my dream home.
Although the stinger splashed out 3 million, and while it may have looked like a dream,
it wasn't ready for moving right away.
At the time of purchase, the interiors were slightly dated with decades old furnishings,
and contractors were summoned to make some changes.
Regardless, Jason has been settled here a while now and we can see thanks to his TikToks
and Instagram that his home is fully personalized these days and beautifully decorated.
However, many of the original touches of the home they kept intact like the skylights throughout,
the grand staircase and all the floor to ceiling windows.
Located in Tarzana California, which is a neighbourhood in the San Fernando Valley of
Los Angeles, of course Jason's home is completely gated and private, sitting on almost a full
acre of land.
Other celebrities who call Tarzana home include the likes of Chris Brown, Iggy Azalea, and
more.
The massive property has about 11,000 square feet of indoor space, and the main house has
5 beds and 5 baths with an attached 2 bed 1 bath guest unit.
Then there's a detached guest house spanning about 3,600 square feet with 4 beds, 5 baths
and all the fixings of a full size family home.
There's more than one garage in Jason's property as well, with the main one holding
up to 8 cars and a 3 car garage attached to the guest house.
Walking into Jason's mansion, the majestic Turt Entryway as the listing describes it
offers 28 foot ceilings and stained glass windows.
We can see how he's decorated this area of the home with a red carpeted staircase and
a mural of his idols at the top.
Doing a tour with People Magazine, Jason showed the fully stocked bar right when you enter
the home and said
So when you walk in the door I wanted to make sure you're taken care of.
There's a lot of bars throughout the whole compound.
It would suck to come all the way downstairs if I wanted a mojito, so I could have my mojito
upstairs if I want, or I could have some wine.
It's just about convenience.
So across his property there are plenty of spots to shake up a drink.
Marble floors lead into the great room where you'll find a crystal chandelier, built
in wet bar and French doors.
This property is exactly where you'd expect a celebrity to spend quarantine, and judging
by the spaces revealed in his TikToks, Jason keeps his decor simple with a mostly white
interior, splashes of black, chrome and glass accents, pop art and even some red.
The grand staircase leads to another common room with cathedral beamed ceilings, skylights,
floor to ceiling stone fireplace and large stained glass window.
From videos Jason's shared we can see one living room has a zebra theme complete with
animal print rug and a warm open fire.
Moving through his elegant mansion you'll find a gourmet kitchen with a pantry, 2 sinks,
2 stoves, 2 dishwashers, and side by side subzero.
Because why not have double of everything?
There's also a wine cooler and casual eating space here.
From his cooking vids we can see Jason gave his kitchen a red theme, or at least one of
the kitchens.
Comparing listing photos and what Jason showed us of his home, you can see how much design
changes were actually made.
He replaced the dated traditional style throughout the mansion with a more modern and open vibe.
Other rooms in the home include a library with 10 foot ceilings and custom built in
bookshelves, a game room, a home movie theatre where he clearly loves to hang out, and a
full gym with sauna and tanning room.
Jason's also showed off his impressive master suite in his vids where we can see remote
control blinds and black and white interior throughout.
There's also a large projector attached to the ceiling, a fireplace, a wet bar, sofa,
and extravagant light fixtures.
Not to mention a wrap around balcony with endless valley views.
Moving to the his and hers master bath, there's a gold accented seamed shower and luxurious
spa tub.
Since customizing the space, Jason added lion statues to the tub explaining
King like.
He also has a bar in his bathroom decked out in an alligator marble.
His walk in closet boasts an automated hanging garment system.
Moving outside the home, you'll find a 75 foot pool which we've also seen in Jason's
TikToks, even clicking his fingers in one video showing the pool light up with blue
and pink.
The massive pool has a bridge leading to a covered entertainment area complete with another
built in bar, multiple TVs, and a spa.
Jason said while showing off this part of the home that he does like to entertain guests
here.
Tall trees surround the entire grounds of Jason's mansion providing extra privacy.
Perfect for a major sports fan, the yard also offers a full lighted sports court.
Alright guys so that's all I got for Jason Derulo and his homes.
We saw his previous place in Coconut Creek, Florida, and his current mansion in Tarzana
where he's been filming all his popular TikTok vids.
So what did you guys think?
I love his current home most of all because who wouldn't, the man has everything from
a giant extra guest house, movie theatre, and more.
But honestly, I like the fact that it looks like a castle most of all, and if it were
me living there, I may have even kept a bit more of the original design in the home.
After looking at Mr. Derulo's mansions, which was your fave?
Or what did you like best about his current home?
