Hi everyone, I'm Veronica, a product expert here at Bloom Nation and a fellow florist. Today we'll
be creating a fall arrangement and I'll be walking you through the biggest trends of the season.
Some of these will be inspired by Europe and Asia. Stay with us until the end and we'll be sharing a
great business idea with you. Let's start with colors. This year, deep burgundy and wine tone
These colors are everywhere, including weddings and events. They'll bring out that dramatic and
luxurious feeling, especially when paired with white and autumn oranges or terracotta shades.
Earlier this year, we actually noticed that orange was becoming very popular. It was a surprising
color choice through Mother's Day season, in addition to the pinks that we usually see. Let's
talk about flowers themselves. Some of the most popular blooms we're seeing are cymbidium orchids,
anthuriums, foxtail lilies, and my personal favorite, hanging amaranthus. We're also seeing
interesting shapes of hair allium and snake balls. These ones, for example, are early harvested garlic
blooms. Adding fruits and vegetables like pomegranates and grapes. And yes, the trend of
incorporating fruits and vegetables is not going anywhere. We actually called this trend in summer
of 2024 and it's still going strong. Figs, pomegranates, and grapes, they add texture and movement.
Fruitscaping has actually become a popular trend at weddings and events. At times, we're seeing more
fruits used than actual flowers. And it's absolutely the right move for fall to symbolize the harvest
season. In terms of design, we're seeing a lot of structure. Here, we're actually using our
Illumination Foam, which I've tied down using floral tape. So here's the finished piece. A fall
arrangement that combines moody tones, seasonal fruits, and a modern structural shape. There's one
more thing I want to share with you. Not so much a trend, but more of an idea. With the price of
vases and containers skyrocketing, it would be smart to consider a vase recycling program. Here's
how it works. Encourage your customers to bring back used vases or containers and give them a small
credit or discount towards their next arrangement. It not only helps reduce cost and waste, but it
also gives your clients a reason to come back to you instead of going somewhere else. And it'll
start making a positive impact on our environment, which we know that more and more customers are
starting to value. If you're a florist, we'd love to hear from you. What trends are you leaning into
right now? Drop a comment below and let's keep the conversation going. Thanks for watching, and we'll
see you next time.
