The annual Pickering Easter Parade 2026 will return to the Bay Ridges neighbourhood of Pickering on Saturday, April 4, 2026, bringing together families, community groups, performers, and colourful floats to celebrate the arrival of spring. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m., welcoming spectators of all ages to enjoy one of the city’s most beloved seasonal traditions.
Organized by the City of Pickering in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606, the Easter Parade has become a cherished community celebration that highlights local creativity, volunteer spirit, and family-friendly fun. Each year, participants decorate floats, bicycles, wagons, and costumes with bright spring colours and festive Easter themes, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the neighbourhood.
What’s New for 2026
The 2026 parade continues the tradition of encouraging participants to design creative floats, costumes, and Easter bonnets that celebrate the joy of spring. Community groups, schools, cultural organizations, and performance teams are invited to take part in the parade, showcasing music, costumes, and vibrant displays that reflect the diversity of the region.
