Can Mom's Go To Coachella?? | BiancaReneeToday

Hey girlfriends, I'm Bianca Renee and you're watching Bianca Renee Today. And today, I apparently should have filmed my makeup look because it actually looks really good on camera today. But more importantly, we are here today because your girl is going to Coachella for the first time. Who would have thought it'd be in my 30s? Not me. But here we are. For those of you that know that I am a huge music lover, concert goer, I've never gone to Coachella. But I said if I go, I want to be invited and I want everything to be for free. And that was always my goal. Because honestly, if I'm gonna pay like one to $2,000 for a concert ticket, I need to love everyone on the lineup. Or I would just go to that one person's concert, probably be front row, backstage passes, have an assigned seat in an air-conditioned venue if I want to spend $2,000. And even this year, I only know the font size like 25s, which happens to be Sabrina Carpenter, Bieber, and Karol G. Anyone that's font size 15 or below, I kind of have no idea who they are. And I was like, dang, am I getting old? Or are these just bad acts? But then, come to find out, all the like parties happening around, like Neon Carnival and Revolve, they actually have the good artists. Like the R&B, the ones that the millennials actually want to see. I'm actually not going to Coachella. I don't think I'm going to the actual festival. We're probably gonna finesse it. If we find a way to finesse, we gonna be in there. But as a breastfeeding mama, pumping in the middle of the desert doesn't seem like the best idea. My algorithm has just flooded me with horror stories from how to wrap your feet, wrap your toes so you don't get blisters, and then stay hydrated, you gotta bring electrolytes, and oh, you have to do a neti pot and clean out your nose every day or you're gonna be sick after the concert. I'm just like, this is a lot. I just won't go. So even though the actual Coachella festival is TBD, I'm totally okay if that part doesn't happen because we have so many other things that we're gonna be doing this weekend. So I'm going with a group of friends formerly known as Ladies of the Table. Ladies of the Table is basically a company started by two boss babes that found a way to invite all of their boss babe friends and then we all hang out and do fun stuff and everything is very brand focused. So instead of waiting for a seat at the table, they just made their own table. So I think it's pretty cool for my first time not to be waiting for a certain brand to invite me, but literally a business that my friends started so that we already have our seat at the table. So let me tell you about my Coachella weekend. These girls are spoiling us to the max. They put me in a group chat with eight other girls and they sent a whole itinerary for the weekend. They say, you're going to Coachella, the transportation's taken care of, the house is taken care of, the dinner's taken care of. Oh, and here's three websites from different clothing brands. Pick whatever you want, so you have your Coachella outfit ready. I was like, excuse me? Being the friend that's always doing the inviting and I'm the one that's taking my friends to places, I've never been the friend that's really invited to anything that someone else is paying for or taking care of. So this is love overload that I'm just not used to. And I'm just so appreciative that they are doing all this. Come to find out, said transportation is not just an Uber code, it's a private jet. Oh, for my first time going to Coachella, I'm arriving in a private jet. Yes, please. Yes, always. Then they found this beautiful house that we're staying in. They're getting us bathing suits so we can go swimming in said pool. I don't even know what I'm doing each day. I'm going to have to tattoo this schedule on my wrist. Okay, so day one, we take the private jet. We land, we check into the Airbnb. Then there's some type of sporting activity. Not sure what that is. These girls play golf. I'm more of a mini golf girl, but we'll see what happens. A pool day, bathing suits provided. Then we're gonna get ready for dinner and then we're going to have a sponsored dinner with Hello Molly that's also gave us these beautiful dresses to wear to the dinner. And then we're going to the nylon party at night, which does start at 10 p.m. Your girl hasn't been to a party that started at 10 p.m. in years. I mean, I used to be about that life. I used to be a club promoter. I used to be rushing to get into the door before 10.30. But now, as a mother with three children, it's rare these eyes see past 9 p.m. I'm in bed, let alone starting my night. But I'm gonna find an energy drink and we're gonna bring back 2012, Bianca. Then the next day, we have the festival party. So we have breakfast at home. Then we have a beauty session with Brown Sugar Baby. I don't even know what that means. Are we gonna hear her make it up? I don't know. Some type of beauty is happening. Then we're gonna get ready for the day. We're gonna go to an Absolute Brunch. Theme is cowgirl, so I gotta get my cowgirl outfit. Then we're going to 818 Tequila's Party, Kendall Jenner's brand. Then we're gonna go have dinner, and then is Neon Carnival. Now, this is where I'm gonna get my hip hop fix because I think it says Ty Dolla $ign and friends. And as someone who goes to concerts, Ty Dolla $ign is literally the special guest at every concert I've ever been to. I don't think I've ever been to a concert where they didn't bring out Ty Dolla $ign. So he's got a lot of friends. So we'll see who he brings. But that's also the same day as the Revolve Party, which isn't on the schedule. But if we could find a way to finesse ourselves in there, it's DJ Buster, Don Toliver, and Kehlani. My R&B and hip hop dreams combined. But that's also in the daytime. We have a lot of daytime things. So I don't know. I don't know where we're gonna fit that in, but if we can finesse, we're gonna finesse. If you haven't in, call me. And then it's time to go home. So there's really no time for the actual Coachella Festival. Your girl's gonna be tired. But I'm here for the ride. There's so much mom guilt in me because I also have another big trip coming up where I'm like, I'm leaving my kids too much. I can't do this. I'm breastfeeding. How am I gonna make this work? But I'm going to live my life. Luckily, I have family and my husband that can help and make this work so I can still enjoy my life, enjoy my career, enjoy the relationships that I've made, and be spoiled because I think mommy deserves it, right? Speaking of being a mom, I will say that when you look up Coachella fashion, everything is like pasties, crop tops, see-through bling, like a feather. What are the moms wearing? I know, the moms aren't going. That's the problem, but this mom is. And I will say I'm very happy with my postpartum body, but the tummy is still not rock solid just yet. So I need, everything I do has to be like high-waisted bodysuit, snatch mommy in. Been a little difficult, but I did find some items. I'm gonna have the skims on deck. So because I'm not doing the actual festival, maybe I don't have to worry about the blisters and the dust and the, I don't know. I won't know what to expect. This is my first time.
