Join me on day two in Kerala, where my friend Vishnu and I kick things off with a traditional pazhamkanji breakfast in Chadayamangalam. This fermented rice dish is mixed with mashed cassava, curd, spicy pickles, and more, and we couldn’t resist adding some chicken curry and fish curry for extra flavor! After savoring every bite, we headed to Jatayu Earth’s Center to see the largest bird sculpture in the world—a 200-foot-long concrete marvel that honors women’s protection. We took a cable car to the top for spectacular panoramic views and even scored access inside the statue itself! Expect fiery chilies, stunning landscapes, and an unforgettable glimpse of Kerala’s culture.
