We Started a 1/8 Acre Garden… This Is Phase 1

We finally started our 1/8 acre garden and this is phase one of turning the side of our property into a working homestead space.
In this video, we’re getting the garden area prepped, laying the foundation, and beginning the process of growing our own food as a large homeschooling family. With 8 kids helping, this isn’t just about gardening it’s about teaching real-life skills, working together, and building something that will feed our family.
We’re aiming for a more self-sufficient lifestyle through gardening, raising our own food, and creating a space where our kids can learn hands-on every day.
This is just the beginning of our homestead garden journey.
