I spent over a month in Turkey exploring hundreds of miles through these canyons
and I just found the most mysterious underground city I've ever found. It's filled with
secret tunnels, rooms, shafts that go straight down. Both sides of the canyon are carved out
into rooms and cities. Just spiraling tunnels everywhere. This is an unnamed place so I'd like
if we could share this and maybe get this place protected. So this is gonna be one wild adventure
guys. Hold on. I'm about six stories up in this underground city. Check out the views.
I'm really high up but look at this. Oh wow. It's an absolute mega city up in this canyon.
This thing was hit with something hard. Car-sized boulders ripped apart the whole city.
How the heck do you get to the top levels? I think there was obvious tunnels
spiraled around. Yeah that tunnel probably lined up with these tunnels.
Holy. There is so much to explore on this canyon. Whoa. There is so bloody many tunnels and
secret passages. Holy. Multi-stories. This was a mega building. Holy crap. There was something
huge huge going on here before this canyon shredded through. Exposed this underground city.
I wonder if this goes to the top. I see stairs. Wow. Stairs are pretty big actually.
I see light at the end. This spirals way up here. Whoa. Huge huge room. Wow.
Look at this crazy crazy sight. Dang. That is incredible. We have so much to explore guys.
There's tunnels going everywhere. Rooms going that way, this way, that way.
Look at this water channel. Dang. Holy.
Like obviously this was all connected. What the heck. Another one that goes up there.
It's like a giant apartment complex and it was so obvious this was all land at one time
and then a flood just ripped through and made the canyon and exposed these like that. This
would have been connected. Some random little hole there. No. Whoa. This is incredible guys.
There's this secret tunnel here. It's pretty tight. Whoa. Spirals around.
No way. This is incredible. This is one of the coolest places I've found. Whoa. Unreal.
Obviously it continued. Now it's completely destroyed. Man. Look at those markings.
Just spirals along right here. They made a mistake and then they turned, kept going.
Whoa. That is bloody incredible. So as what I can see now, they use this tunnel.
They would have dammed the water. So this was their water system so they could have fresh water.
Dang. We got to go up this one. We got to. This is an insanely big underground city.
Wow. What the heck. See it would have continued and it would have connected with that side
before this was even a canyon. So that is bloody, bloody interesting.
Wow. This is strange. They had a little fire there and maybe there and a random room here.
It is also bloody mysterious. Wow. Yeah. That's where the water,
they had the water flowing right down there. Incredible. We got so random room here.
More rooms over there. Whoa. A wine making spot. You can see it squished the wine.
Drain into here. And obviously this used to connect with that side. So this was all one
mega underground city all through this canyon. Whoa. This is ginormous.
The whole thing has about 10 feet of flooded sediment. Whoa. Mysterious.
That would have been wine storage and a room here. Whoa. So many rooms.
Wow. How did all this flooded sediment get way, way up here? We're like 60 feet up now.
So many rooms. Each room you can tell it had a big locking door at one time. More wine storage.
Whoa. Holy crap. That's creepy. A huge, huge hole. I cannot see the bottom.
There is no way out of this. Look at that. What the heck? Gotta do what everyone else would do.
Find a rock. You can tell everyone's been looking for the rocks. All right. Too mysterious.
Too curious not to do it. All right. Here we go. Still pretty deep. Whoa. Almost missed this one.
See, look at that. This one's filled with basketball sized rocks and flooded sediment.
So something flooded this valley. Brought in a ton. What? There's more stairs. Holy crap.
This is huge. Whoa. Stairs are insanely steep. Whoa. That one just goes out to the canyon.
Whoa. Holy. Some big cataclysm. Just rocked this place. Ay, ay, ay. What?
There's more secret rooms. This is sketchy. Everything's balanced.
That is so scary. But I gotta make it. No way. This is like a five story building.
Holy. Another room here. What the heck? Shook up this place.
That's for bees. Another mysterious room. Whoa. Just take that in. This was multi
leveled. You can see that layer collapse. I hear some people. They have no idea
what they're missing out on. Whoa. Holy crap. We are like a hundred feet up now.
Dang. Whoa. It all leads to this? Is that the secret pooper?
Whoa. We are like a hundred feet up. Ay, ay, ay. Wow. This could have been the bathroom.
Not gonna lie. Just like this. Poop on the people down below. Give it a kick.
This is insane, guys. I'm the only one up here. Wow. I cannot believe how many
different levels. Whoa. See, look. It was flooded to the very top. Look at all those flood layers.
This room was filled to the top. And the city continued, but it is all flooded.
All flooded now. Wow. Mind is blown. There's another door. Wow. Just cannot explain
how wild this is. Like this city and tunnels probably continued all over. Look at that.
And the wildest part is this ancient city isn't even written about in the books. Like there's no
info about this place online. That's just how many ancient cities there are here.
There's too many to record them all. So that's saying something. Ay, the scary part.
All that rock is just balanced. Let's go down. Ay. Yeah, these stairs are almost straight down.
That's why there's handles. Then that one just goes to nowhere. Back when there wasn't a canyon.
Wow. That is incredible.
Insane. That's all I can say. So this would have been the barn area. This must have been
where the water was because they had that water. Must have flown, uh, came all the way down here.
All right guys, I'm going to continue hiking, finding more cities.
