We weaved past stalls of spices, produce, clothes, and quirky piggy bank designs before sampling fiery chilies, fresh orange juice, savory tamales with marinated pork, sweet yotamales, and even pork brains with corn. Between sips of bagged water and tuk-tuk rides through the chaotic streets, I soaked up the energy, flavors, and charm of this bustling local market.
