Moyogalpa STREET FOOD TOUR in Nicaragua!! Tieste, Enchiladas & Tortillas in Ometepe Island!!

After arriving in Moyogalpa on Ometepe Island, I hit the main street with my guide Carlos to dive into the local street food scene. We started with a fresh tortilla stuffed with cheese and spicy vinegar salsa, followed by a crispy chicken enchilada and a refreshing cacao-corn drink called tiste, both eaten Nicaraguan-style straight from the bag. After some hot fried chicken at Nic en Pollo, we cooled off with sweet coconuts at La Punta de Jesús María, taking in black sand beaches and sweeping volcano views. I wrapped up the day buying handcrafted bronze and silver jewelry from local artisan Roger Martinez, a perfect start to exploring Ometepe.
