Jessica Pegula vs. Diana Shnaider | 2026 Charleston Quarterfinal | WTA Match Highlights

That's an amazing point. Oh, that's special. What a sly shot there from Schneider. Schneider takes that first set and deserved it as well. The big game in the end for Schneider was a 3-0, which saved the break points. Have he only ever had one top 10 victory? That has to be the point and the shot of the week. Three set points. Pagula, who has been near perfect this year in three set matches. She's won eight of her nine. And that's a tremendous effort from the defending champion. After all that Schneider threw at Pagula. Special tennis. Pagula covered the whole court there. Incredible. Magnificent serving. That's the tennis she played for the first two sets. She had the whole court to win the match and she just pushed it back to Schneider. Pagula with the first serve. Pagula with another win. And that's 22 victories in 2026. And nine sets that she's had to play in her three matches here in Charleston. She's been living dangerously, defending her title. But what a year it's been in deciding sets. That's now nine out of 10 matches, one when it has gone the distance. What a competitor. Schneider played her part. Two brilliant sets, but she wasn't able to keep it going in the third. Pagula 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
