Elena Rybakina vs. Diana Shnaider | 2026 Stuttgart Round of 16 | WTA Match Highlights

Well, that is as comfortable as they come. And that is just what Rybikina would have wanted. And came in nice and quick to meet that one. Rybikina looking in ruthless mood. Just took charge at that point so early. And once he was in charge, Schneider had no chance. And was there ever any doubt. Beautifully guided. Well, a little blip, if you like, from Rybikina in that last game. But that aside, that is an exceptional set of tennis. 6-3, half an hour. A little loose. Rybikina, despite leading, set to the good. And forehand though, when she's given that sort of time. Rybikina just edging her way back into this. Oh, what an angle. Oh, too good in the end. From Rybikina off that lethal forehand. A little lucky. Rybikina there with the net caught. The last second serve from Schneider. Oh, quality. That was a pressure point for Schneider. The match could be up if she gets broken now. Yeah, I think she knew the writing was on the wall there, Schneider. But still, there's hope. Lovely point by Schneider. Well, was there ever any other way she would settle it? Ace number nine. And the former champion is off and underway here on centre court. Set number one. Barely put a foot wrong. Schneider had to play really well to stay in it. Set number two. It was much more competitive. But once she got that break at four all, Rybikina knew that it was just a case of serving it out. And she did so with real comfort. 6-3, 6-4 then in an hour and 30. We'll be right back.
