For years this Derbyshire cave was thought to be Victorian - but new archaeology shows the carved interior is far older, dating back to the 800s. Suddenly the old story about Saint Hardulph, believed to be the exiled King Eardwulf of Northumbria, didn't sounds like a legend anymore.

So...did a lost king really hide out here?
