But one thing about Guyana – it’s home to some of my favorite foods in the world! From indigenous influences, to Caribbean, to Indian and Chinese—you name it, it’s a part of the culture here. Today we’re exploring the capital city, Georgetown. We’re trying local food like metemgee to street food like egg balls, Guyanese Chinese food, and food that has been influenced by India like dal, roti, and baigan choka!
