Former Monmouth Mall is in the middle of a massive transformation

Here’s a drone view of the rebirth happening at the former Monmouth Mall in Eatontown. Construction is well under way at the mall site as it’s being reimagined as Monmouth Square with a more than $500 million open-air town center. The plan calls for 990,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, 1,000 residential units, medical office space, a central public green for concerts and farmers markets all connected by a network of pedestrian paths.
