Smart Fixtures for Industry 4.0 Machining Centers

The new and innovative E-Pallet interface allows to provide the classical fluid interface for hydraulic oil and compressed air for fixtures, but also power, sensor and RFID signals. This makes it possible to set up electronically driven and monitored fixtures and thus to implement intelligent fixture concepts in Smart Manufacturing for the first time. In addition, the safe speed limit via RFID sensor increases safety, as the maximum table speed can be automatically adjusted for each fixture.
