there we just saw a guy just like shooting if I was coming to Jamaica on that cruise that we just saw pull in from Carnival I would come straight to this beach you know sit back relax get a piña colada not virgin piña colada a spiked one some good rum maybe get something to smoke if you want this is Jamaica it is legal here jump in the water relax have some good food nice fish lobster they have so much good food especially the jerk go get the jerk and yeah just relax I mean that's that's what vacation is about you know travel is different for everybody I believe it's about exploring new destinations but it's also about resetting your mind going somewhere taking it easy I want to one day go on a trip lay on a beach for three days forget everything and then go back home and restart I packed people are here getting drinks chilling view wow all right so this is the oxtail oh my gosh that looks amazing curry goat so oxtail is served with rice and beans and curry goat with the white rice perfect enjoy parrotfish wow look at that beauty loving the presentation I'm glad you are let me tell you you need to dig in now you need to eat I will because the flavor oh wow this this oxtail falling apart this is one of the dishes you must try in Jamaica and over here you got that goat curry look nice chunky goat it reminds me of one of these like Indian stews and over here we have rice and then we have rice and peas I'm personally a fan of rice and peas I think it's amazing it's just more taste all right so the oxtail we basically season it overnight so it's seasoned with our natural seasons you know onions scallion garlic pepper and some powdered seasoning salt Maggie's all-purpose seasoning can't forget that and once we do that we leave that overnight when we come in the mornings now they put on a pot and they braise the oxtail curry goat is pretty similar pretty similar that's how we season those for the escabeche of course you know we have to get the fish scaled sometimes you put them in the pan without them being scaled so you can experience the whole concept once like the parrot that was not scaled when you chose it so once it went in they scaled it they carried it to the kitchen they core it black pepper salt and then they fry so maybe I should try my sauce with some of this the fried skin I think it's gonna be good this is a different type of fish the flavors are so unique I like the crispiness yeah not too deep fried no it's perfect and you still have that scotch bonnet though you feel it everywhere everywhere scotch bonnet got seeds scotch bonnet with david's vineyard amazing it's hot too hot mango chutney for sure people don't think that the scotch bonnet is hot but this thing is like brutal look at this you know what I like about it red stripe beer batter fish freshly cut fries on the side and of course natural salads Israeli salad you can't you can't just do things in Jamaica you have to have the Jamaica with a with a Jamaican vibe and that's we have all the three colors of the black yellow and green the Jamaican color do you know the secret of the Jamaican colors no please let's start off with the yellow yellow reminds us of the beautiful sun we get in Jamaica the green reminds us of the great agriculture the greenery that Jamaica is blessed for the black is the problems we all have in life that's and it reminds us so we check very thoroughly our staff we train them how to check the cabbage the cucumbers tomatoes if we use any lettuce number two is there's something deeper over here it's not something that can be really explained but there's something special when the rabbi or the jewish um in hebrew call him a supervisor turns on the fire so we're going to first you know the pot see the pilot is already on we're just going to relight it on so always at our our place the fire is on and yeah it has my touch or one of my volunteers touch and that what gives it a kosherness and another thing is which we don't have any eggs in this this one is basically vegetarian just fish and falafel and smoothies natural juices everything is natural made over here when you have a place eggs you need to check it for from israel and florida they already have they have falafel places they have a very big following of the israeli community who loves the middle eastern uh food not just israeli you know anybody from six parishes six cities at a time and so it works for us so we can reach to every jew no jew should ever feel behind the jamaican people have a respect to the jewish people so we just finished our kfc what just what just happened here i've been in a kfc in jamaica four times my fourth time i've been to trinidad kfc i've been to american kfc i'll tell you the stuff we got here is epic food right think i need to add some of my sauce though it's not spicy barbecues are not not spicy enough kfc call me let's do a deal send you a spicy barbecue is there any spicy i think there is man i think that's what we have when you come here you come to jamaica come to kfc get in the line oh my god delicious bro the zinger it's the best chicken sandwich dude what a great chicken sandwich you know it is though it's that bready brains like so sweet too they're good they're crispy i don't know it's hard for me the best prize on earth checkers prize the little sporty ones are spicy and also the the five guys cajun fries they're good though they do the job it's even better with my sauce though so a lot of people gave me a lot of slack for going to kfc last time i was in jamaica and they were like you know that's not really part of the caribbean or the jamaican culture but it actually is kfc in jamaica is a huge thing everybody knows kfc in jamaica uh they go and do huge lines especially when they're traveling internationally they'll go to the line get it before the flight fly to miami or new york and bring it to their you know their family members their loved ones and uh yeah i definitely think you should try the experience it's really cool sometimes the lines out the door today we were very fortunate it wasn't that bad it was like 4 p.m if you're here at noon crazy line the drive-thru if you look at that that's the line that's a huge line yeah and kfc in jamaica definitely always good really filling the zinger best chicken sandwich in the world quote me so who has better kfc kingston or montego bay well the truth is they're the same straight up the same same owner same feeling good food affordable delicious definitely something you should do when you come to jamaica
