Hello everyone, it's Asagi. Today is a really hot summer day and I am going to a festival that is
called Yokosuka Kaikokusai in Yokosuka Kanagawa prefecture. Today or this time of year it's the
day when Matthew Perry from the U.S. landed in Japan and forced to open the port for American trade
and actually that is a big historical changing event for us. I think it's in a good way and
to celebrate the day they are conducting the festival every single year. They also have
fireworks that is really awesome and also I am wearing yukata which is a traditional summer
clothes in Japan. I think the last time I wore yukata is four years ago so I'm really excited.
So this is my yukata I got four years ago. It's a black yukata with a lot of cherry blossom pattern
and then I also have obi that matches the color of one of the cherry blossom. I am going to bring
this yukata to hair salon actually because I can't wear yukata by myself. I think a lot of
Japanese girls don't wear yukata by themselves. It requires some skill to wear yukata properly so
I think it's a good idea to bring them to hair salon. They also do a hair set for me so that's
really awesome. What I actually need is this yukata and obi and some belt and a bunch of
face towels so yeah I'll bring them to hair salon. I should be fine. Oh I also have geta for shoes
but actually it's really hard for me to wear this and walk around so I actually just have
beach sandals instead. I know it's lame but I will. So yeah I will get dressed in yukata and
see you guys later on the festival.
