Hi, it's Sylvia here with Vintage Kitchen Vixen, where I share tips for
simple living, creating memorable gatherings,
and preparing wholesome and traditional meals with a vintage twist.
And today I'm going to be sharing one of my favorite
recipes with you. Now, I don't know if you've ever heard
of German meat rolladen, but it's basically
these meat rolls that braise for hours in the oven and they melt in your mouth.
You can make the most delicious sauce with the drippings,
and oh my goodness, my mom would make them on special
occasions and it's my favorite meal in the whole wide world.
Especially if you serve them with either some spätzle
or potatoes, it's such a good main. It's a little bit tricky to find the
rolladen meat, not the rolls itself, but the meat
because it's a slice of beef. It's sliced
very thin and you need a special slicer to make those cuts.
So you need to find a specialty butcher who can make it.
Most German butchers, they will have it available for you,
but it's a little bit of a hunt. And if you can get your hands on
the rolladen meat, you're going to be happy that you did. If you are new here, I
hope you hit subscribe and the bell notification while you're
at it so you don't miss any videos. I put new content up twice a week. I also
have a link to the recipe where you can print
it out and read more about it in the link below.

of German cuisine. I'm going to stop talking
and we're going to get into a silent film mode.

thumbs up, leave a comment, and share. Bye!
