Hello, welcome to our course series and this episode we would be talking about
creatively designing your social media content. It's a really really interesting class,
very short class, very very short class, but we're going to just get right into all of the
things you need and we're going to add some success, some live videos so that you can
see how things work. If you notice from our episodes, the way it has been is you have
real knowledge, deep knowledge about what you're doing and then would give you access to
other things. We give you access to live demos so you can see how everything works.
All right, so again my name is Oluwamalewa and it's a huge pleasure to be leading this course
and working with you guys. So again, I've had six years of experience in this industry,
co-founded companies around what I offer or what I'm currently teaching. So I'm not just
teaching head knowledge, but teaching a very real practical knowledge for you to work with
and grow your business. So are you ready? Are you ready? So let's get started. Can you see
what is on the screen? Everything is competing with everything. Everything is competing with
everything. So picture it this way. When you get on social media, this is about the amount of
images you get served in a day. Let's say even in a day, in one hour you can scroll through this
much pictures. So as a business owner, your goal is to make sure your content stands out and then
pretty much help you get your content and your service right in front of your audience or your
potential customers. So this is a true picture of what it looks like on your visitors or your
customer screen. So all you're trying to do is to get a share of that of the attention. You know,
in the age of today, attention is the real deal. Attention is what everybody is trying to
get into. Attention is what everybody is trying to get. So that's why a lot of people are putting
effort into how creative their content looks. If you have a good content and then it's not
creative, people don't get it. You would probably not drive interaction. You probably not drive as
much. Another quick test. Look at this screen, right? Imagine you put out a content that has
only text, everything. Do you think it would be very easy to pull it out from here? If you can
even spot the screen, from your first view, which content stood out for you? Which content stood out
for you? I know it's a little bit long, but which content stood out for you? So that's exactly how
you think about the content. So your goal is to create something that makes you stand out
on your users or your prospective customers' screen. So that's exactly what we're trying to
do here. I would introduce you into HAPs and then we'll just look through the HAPs, think about
when you can use the HAPs and all of the key things that would be a huge benefit to you.
So what are the qualities of a good creative? Number one is time stopping. Time stopping means
someone sees it and says, what? Wait, wait, wait, what did I just see? Scroll back.
Have you been in a situation where you were scrolling through something and then you missed it
and then you were just looking out for it? You were just scrolling back. Maybe you
mistakenly refresh your feed and then you just want to see it. You're even trying to think about
the name so that you can search it and go look for it on their page. Or you saw it and then you
want to see it again. That's exactly what a time stopping creative looks like. And next is, it is
different. When you see content that's different, you ask, really, what's this? The next is spark
curiosity. And then number three, it's engaging. Project what you're trying to put out with your
brand. Well, then go ahead to give them a try. I will explain the tools that will help you give
them a try right now. Let's just get right to the tool. This is a lot of value you're getting. So
what tools can you use? First, Canva. Canva is very popular. You can use Canva to design images.
You go to canva.com and then you can use that to design images of your product. I propose,
this is a project I'm working on personally. This is my own Canva account. Just go to Canva,
filter by product, then select this. All you need to do is to replace your picture.
Replace this slide with a picture and then you are good to go. You can literally just replace,
change the text, put your logo, boom, done. Replace, change the color, just be creative.
With this six set on my screen right now, I can produce 20. If you give me one, two, three,
four, five, six, if I produce three per picture and three products into each of these, that's
three times six, that's 18. That's 18 already. To get my gray right here, I can change it to red.
I can just tweak it all around and you have almost 20 content design with no stress.
To get my gray right here, I can change it to red. I can just tweak it all around and you have
almost 20 content design with no stress. That's how to design content.
Next one is Animoto. Animoto is a really cool tool I like. If you joined, if you attended our
slide where we talked about how to build a website yourself, we actually use Animoto.
You just go there, select the demo they have, just put in your own video, edit the text,
and you're good. One cool thing with Animoto is that they have a referral program. Let me give you
a secret. If you go to Animoto referral, they have a referral program. The way their referral
program works is that when you refer somebody, they will give you one month free. It's not a
free tool. It is a paid tool. They'll give you a free version, but they will have their logo on it.
That's not what you want for your brand. If you want to try this out, see how it works,
get a month of Animoto for free by just referring a friend. Get your friend to try Animoto or get
your friend to attend this program. They will be learning something. You'll be getting one month
free usage of this. You can go to template right here. With the template section here, you can just
check out things you want to put in. Maybe you're putting up a motivation Monday. You just
put motivation out and then just replace what they have with what you want to put out there.
Maybe you want to put an explainer video. Maybe you want to talk about an event. Maybe you want
to share your behind the scenes in a fancy way. If you want to put out your tutorial,
this has everything. You just click on it and boom, you can see how it works. In fact,
they even show you a video of what it looks like so that you can see how it looks like. This is
cool. If you have a video of yourself just doing like this, you'll be able to replace this video.
You'll be able to change the text. This is a massive content for your brand already.
Let's play around a little bit. Let's look at teaser. Maybe you're launching a new brand line
very soon and then you just want to get people to see a sneak peek. You click on the sneak peek
and then you just see how it looks. If it works for you, you just... If you had signed up,
it would just tell you to edit this video right away, right? Great. Let's get back to our tool
so that we can maximize time. That's Animoto. Animoto is a really cool tool. I found a lot of
are very, very easy to work with. That's why I've chosen them. They have
a lot of tools. This is Ripple. Ripple helps you turn your photos into videos,
right? You can turn your photos into videos. You can turn that picture you have right here
into a video. Let's just check it out. Again, some of these tools are for mobile only.
You want to ensure that you download the app and then just see what it provides to you.
This is Ripple. A quick way out is to just get on an app, just go on YouTube, look at
how best to work with this. My own focus for this course is to spark that curiosity in you. If I'm
taking a course on how to design this, we'll probably be spending five hours because we
need to download, plan, do all of those things. With this, you'll see what is possible.
Demo. That's literally Ripple. That's literally Ripple. Cool, right?
That's literally Ripple. That's literally Ripple. Cool, right?
So, next tool, you can check out Ripple. Next tool right here is
VideoShop. VideoShop allows you to mix your existing videos, allows you to work with your
existing videos and just put them together. Let's check out again VideoShop. We're just
trying to check a video. While that is loading, there's a simple tutorial that is here.
You open the VideoShop app, you upload your video, you choose the square video orientation,
then you trim your video, add your logo, and customize your text. That's literally what you
need to do. Okay, so let's see how VideoShop works. I'm just looking for a short video so
you can see how. Yeah, right. So, there are tons of videos right here. Tons of videos that help you.
In the resource section of this course, I will put all these links so that it's easy for you to
catch up and work with. I hope that helps. So, let's just hope so that we can maximize time.
Well, that is about coming up. Welcome, everybody. My name is Marcus,
pretty much. Thank you for watching. Hope you are going to have a great week.
So, next, we go to, pretty much. Thank you for watching. Hope you are going to have a great week.
So, next, we go to Unfold. So, Unfold allows you to create stories with multiple photos.
Right. You can drive stories around Unfold. Great. Let's check it out also.
Yep, yep, yep. We're learning a lot, guys. We are learning a lot. We're learning a lot.
So, let's see this. It's 3.30. If you remember, when we're checking the creative hub, we actually
saw an ad that looks like that. Let me try to look for it. It was picture on picture. Yeah,
I think this. I think this. Stories. This right here. No, no, no. Not this. I think this.
So, get creative. Get creative. Get creative.
Get creative. Get creative. So, that's Unfold. Next, we have Mojo. Even though Mojo is available
on higher, it will allow you to create stories from video templates. You can check that out as
well. Adobe Spark Post makes your offer stand out. It helps you create a nice design. You can check
out videos on that and see how it works as well. We have a Photo Mix. Photo Mix is something I
love a lot. Adobe Photo Mix. So, let's check it out. What it basically does is help you put
picture on picture and allows you to create a very nice output out of it. Let's see if I can
find a short video. Okay, I think you can actually find this on Facebook's mobile studio. So, there's
a place called Facebook mobile studio that you can find some of these things as well.
Let me open that for you guys. I'll put the link in here. So, yeah, we're like right at Adobe
Photo Mix. Yeah, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so. Yeah, this is Photo Mix right here. So,
pretty much you have a picture and you can produce something like this. You go to Adobe
Photo Mix, you do image, then you go to all photos, you add the photos you want,
then you add another picture on it, right? Right here. So, you then crop the background out
and that photo goes right on the previous one and boom. The photo that was just
made for one purpose has now turned into something that you can
use more than once. You can change background, use a lot of things. Even if you need to put some
fancy background, you can go ahead. Next tool right here is Boomerang. Boomerang is also on
Facebook studio. Right here, this is how Boomerang works. Yeah. It makes something that
a short video turns it into things. So, you just press the thumb and then it's, it's keep,
keep looping. So, one loop of that thing keep happening over and over and over again and then
it looks like it's coming to life. So, you must have seen it a lot on social media with a lot of
people always just dancing, putting their hand, that's in a sort of way. So, Boomerang is what
they use to achieve that. So, next, we're almost done. We have Plotterverse. Plotterverse allows
you to add motion to moving images. I love Plotterverse a lot. You can make, I mean,
imagine someone sitting by riverside and then it's just a picture. They use Plotterverse to
add motion to the river so that it looks like the person is actually right there. So, let's see.
You see, that, that was a picture but Plotterverse allows you to add motion around it. So, a picture
right here, you put in your picture, then you use the Plotterverse arrows to just direct the movement
of a certain path. Yeah, this is just telling the direction of the movement of that place,
right? And that's it. Quite cool, right? Then you share and that's literally Plotterverse.
So, next tool I have here is Quick. Quick allows you to animate your photos into music.
Quick is also available here. Let's see how that works. Picture many photos, put in a style,
then you have this right here. So, you can create a story with Quick. Yeah. So, we've got,
we've got our content. So, so, this is the way it plays out. Just from,
so, you know, text, pictures and music and then you turn that into, you turn a set of pictures
into music and something that is very fun to watch. Great. So, we've gone through all of the
tools. Again, just to recap, some tools are not on the Facebook Creator Studio but you can find
them very helpful. With just these tools, you're good to go. Remember, in the previous episode,
you have designed, you have created your content. Now, you're just putting out a nice design to you
so that it brings out the value of that content. So, here are all our tools and I think that's
all. Thank you so much for joining our class. We hope you find this helpful. I will try to
add the links to this course so that you can find, you can know how to work your way around
some of those things. So, thank you, guys. Thank you so much. Oh, you saw it and then you want to
see it again. That's exactly what a Tom Stopping creative looks like, right? And next is, it is
different. It is, you know, when you see content that's different, you, really, what's this?
The next is Park Curiosity and then number three, it's engaging. So, we're going to look at the
tools that helps you create this and for the sake of this class, all of the tools I'm going to be
talking about would allow you create content with your mobile phone. So, I'm going to run through
this and we'll try to do a short demo of how you can use each of these in your brand so that
you can just see how they work in real life but they're all available here. But because
before we go into the tools, there's something I want you guys to see. It's the Facebook creative
hub. Let me just add the link to the slide so that you can have access to it as well.
So, it's a creative hub gallery. What does a creative hub gallery does? It's a place where
you can find inspiration. Maybe you're stuck, you don't even know what content to create
or how you should even pitch your stuff. Facebook has packed some really cool stuff for you here.
So, you can just look through. Some were not created with mobile phone. Some were created
with some big garden but what this place just does is just give you inspiration of what is possible.
So, we're going to just explore one or two things. So, you see how it exactly looks like. So,
for example, for this first one, let's play it and see what it looks like. Okay,
I don't know why it's not playing but let's see this.
Yeah, very simple and just straight to the point. So, that's this. Let's look at this too.
This has no sound but you know this is a little bit hard. So, you're just looking at some ideas
like oh, so this is possible. So, that's exactly what I think you need as a small business owner
even with all the tools I'm sharing. Let me just refresh the page because some aren't playing.
So, this is called Facebook creative hub gallery. So, they have put some nice stuff for you to just
see and work with, right? So, let's see how this works. This you can create with your mobile phone.
We're going to get into it. Create this with your mobile phone. Maybe you are an event company,
you're in a company that wants to just showcase a true, you want to bring your customer into that
experience from your content. This is it right here, right? So, next is this. This is your first
text because text you can do this with your smartphone. We'll get into how to do all of
these things. They're really fantastic. So, this is another one. Choosing a good creative number
has to be different. It has to spark your routine and it has to be engaging. That's what you see
with all of these options right here. This is another one by British Airways.
There are tons of ideas. So, this is another. This you can achieve with your smartphone. This
is just a mix of pictures turned to a video. Picture one, picture two, picture three, picture
four, all put together as a slideshow. So, it looks like a video. So, you can add a caption to
say, have you tasted our delicious so-so-so and boom, right? So, this is it right here.
So, there are tons. I just want us to go through it so that you're inspired and then you have
some strategies to work with. Of course, you might not be able to pull this off with your smartphone
but again, it's just making you jump out of doing things the usual ordinary way,
right? So, that's exactly what this is helping us achieve.
Again, before we go into tools, one thing that I'm trying to unlock is your creativity,
right? How creative can you get? How creative can you be? How creative can you even move with
all of this? So, before you even get to the tools, if you don't know what you want to do with the
tools, you might not be able to get anything out. Very simple things but it's the ingenious
and the creativity that is behind it. So, you can check out things that pretty much
resonate with your brand and then just look at it. Let's look at this carousel.
You can see this is a very creative heart carousel. Very creative heart. Simple,
very simple strategy right here. Just you're trying to sell that the fact that you shouldn't
always say you don't have space, cannot take water. We all face this. So, this tool,
they just showed this tool in a very simple and creative way. I really like this. I really like
this. Oh, I wish I can play it. Okay, let me just filter by carousel. Good. So, see what's
happening right here? Just a series of picture taking the customer journey. That's what we see
in a lot of carousel posts right here. I mean, these days. There's another one I want to show
you guys that is pretty really cool. Look at this. I challenge every fashion person to pull
this off. Try this out. When we get into running Facebook ads, this is a very, very perfect
creative you can use for your ads. You would definitely drive a lot of results because this
gets your audience. Yeah. So, again, it's in the creativity. You want the business.
So, you want to look at how creative can I be telling this business story to my audience.
So, these are really, really fantastic stuff you can work with. Again, so, there are a bunch
of strategies you can use. So, let's look at image. So, there's some that just image with text
but with good strategy behind them. Let's see this. I mean, basic image. You know, there are
some tools we'll talk about that just allows you to remove background from image. Just removing the
background or just changing background, you can use one image like two times. Two times, four
times, ten times. You can repurpose image. That's what repurposing entails. You can see this as
well. Just fantastic ideas you can work with. So, the question is now what apps can I use to make
all of these things happen, right? What apps can I use to make all of these things happen? We're
going to get right there. Let's check slideshow as well. Slideshow. So, again, if I was going to
start, I will first look at things that are easy to do like image, carousel, slideshow. Before I
now go into video stories, instant experience, practical video, I just want to see what I can
start with. This is really simple, creative. Simple and very creative, right? Simple and very
creative. Again, you're trying to be different. You're trying to be unpredictable. That's the
goal of your creative strategy right here. So, you're trying to be different. Let's look at this
as well. Just slideshow of moments of using your product. This is just lovely, right? This is another
