David was a shepherd boy
Watching sheep with care and joy
Out in fields both day and night
God was with him, shining bright
Just a shepherd boy
Not big at all
Waving guide
With just one stone
And the Lord beside
David stood so brave, no fear in sight
A giant stood so tall and loud
Made the army scared and bowed
But David said, I will not fear
God is with me, He is near
Just a shepherd boy
Not big at all
Just one stone and the Lord beside
David stood so brave, no fear in sight
He took his sling and aimed it true
Trusted God in all he'd do
Down the giant came that day
God had made him
Just a shepherd boy
Not big at all
But his faith in God
Made the giant fall
With just one stone
And the Lord beside
David stood so brave, no fear in sight
Just a shepherd boy
Not big at all
But his faith in God
Made the giant fall
With just one stone
And the Lord beside
David stood so brave, no fear in sight
I can trust God just like David
He is strong and He will save me
Big or small, I know it's true
God will help me through and through
