Sources tell ABC News that hundreds of ICE agents are expected at 14 airports this week, including Philadelphia International Airport.
The Trump administration is deploying the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents as Transportation Security Administration officers continue to work without pay during the ongoing partial government shutdown.

Now at 11, the big story on Action News is ICE at the airport.
ICE agents are expected to report for duty any day now at Philadelphia International,
part of President Donald Trump's latest effort to combat the security-line chaos at airports across the nation.
Action News reporter Caroline Gallagher live from PHL with the full story tonight. Caroline.
Reagan's union that represents TSA officers here at Philadelphia International Airport
says that those ICE agents were here at the airport earlier today, but they were not working.
They were simply being escorted around the premises.
And this comes as the Department of Homeland Security says these ICE agents are being deployed to airports
across the country in order to help with those long TSA lines that we've seen recently.
It was a slow evening at security inside Philadelphia International Airport.
It's not what I expected, actually.
Especially after a busy afternoon and these incredibly long lines captured this morning at PHL.
I've been hearing on the news and on the radio how everything is packed.
The long lines and delays are tied to the partial government shutdown, which has sidelined TSA officers.
They have been working without pay for more than a month.
More than 400 have quit and thousands have called out.
In response, President Trump has sent hundreds of ICE agents to airports to bolster TSA efforts.
Philadelphia is one of those airports.
I don't know when they're going to start. I don't know anything.
But I do know that they were there.
They were not working in any capacity.
LaShonda Palmer is with the union that represents TSA employees at PHL.
She says her officers are concerned about this move, especially as they handle mounting financial stress.
We're not being paid.
The one agency that you guys are arguing and fighting about is being paid.
And being paid well.
And now you're about to bring them into the airport.
While ICE agents haven't been seen working in Philadelphia yet, they have been spotted in airports in Atlanta and Newark.
Reaction here at home has been mixed.
And I get why they're doing it. I understand it. I totally get it.
But you can already see how much controversy is starting.
The TSA aren't getting paid and ICE agents are.
So I just think that's completely unfair.
LaShonda Palmer tells me it is her understanding these ICE agents will be in uniform.
And they will be operating in capacities like ticket checkers.
Or they will be manning the exits here at PHL.
President Donald Trump says he does not want these ICE agents to be in masks at any airport across the country.
We're live tonight outside Philadelphia International Airport.
