And I'm Christine Marsilio. Welcome to WineFolly's hands-on learning experience, where we'll dive into all things French wine. As educators together, Christine and I have a wealth of experience to offer. I am the co-founder of WineFolly.com, the author of two award-winning books, hundreds of YouTube videos, and over a thousand articles on the topic of wine. My background is in science and education. I have a master's degree in Enology and Viticulture. I am a master of wine, and I'm a former curriculum builder for the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. I also coach students for the Master of Wine examinations. Our combined experience together is at the core of this course. Throughout this course, you'll have the opportunity to put your knowledge to practice, while you follow along as I go through real-world scenarios with French wine. Then I'll provide the practical knowledge so that by the end of this course, you'll have the power to curate your own French wine list. The course is organized into four modules which flow through the major wine regions of France. It also includes a real-world challenge if you choose to take it. We've designed each module to take about a week to complete. This means in about a month, you'll have a really strong grasp on the wines of France.
