He's a great kid.
He's a rotten kid. He's a totally rotten kid.
I think it's, you know, it's a parent's job to protect their kids.
And, you know, I think that by not involving Roman's character in the reality of what's going on at home,
you know, I think it's basically, I'm keeping him alive that way.
And, of course, had, you know, I've never had a child in film before,
and then this year I made two films, and I have kids that are, like, suddenly, like, 10, 11 years old.
And so, yeah, I became kind of like an instant parent.
But I think, you know, for actors, of course, there's all different ways of getting yourself to where you need to go.
Being a parent myself was just invaluably helpful to me.
It was just incredibly helpful.
I had a sort of kind of empathy for, you know, for Ruthie's plight,
that I may not have had the same insight otherwise.
So, yeah, it was, you know, she was just a joy to play.
She's a very warm, warm, lovable, you know, character that I think is, just felt very comfy to me.
And I wanted that to come across, that she was just comfortable and kind of sugary and warm.
