Irish PM DEFENDS Keir Starmer from Trump s latest attacks over Iran during press briefing

U.S. President Donald Trumps welcomes Micheál Martin, the Irish Taoiseach to the White House's Oval Office as part of the St Patrick's Day tradition.

In his opening remarks, Trump said the two leaders are going to talk about trade.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin said "so in many ways our connection is foundational, it's historic."

During a conversation about Churchill Trump repeated his previous remarks that 'Starmer is no Churchill'. Coming to his defence Taoiseach Martin called for Trump to strengthen his ties with Starmer like they had 'ben previously before'.
