Nagoya Sekku Kazari (Dolls)

Costumed dolls, banners and flags, and lanterns are developed as a craft in the 19th century, made by traditional techniques handed down from the Edo period. The technique was established in 1916, and was said to be superior to Kyoto, the leading place for festival decorations. The main raw materials have also been used continuously since 1903.
