❄️A Quiet Day in My Cottage | Slow Living, Handmade & Baking 🌿

🏡In today’s video, let’s slow down together.
A quiet countryside morning, soft light through the window, simple moments that make a home feel alive. No rush — just gentle living.
I will be sewing a little bunny by hand, preparing a wholesome breakfast for Brotzeit, and making stuffed crepes in the kitchen filled with warmth and care. We’ll arrange fresh spring flowers in simple mugs — on the kitchen table and on the fireplace — bringing a touch of the new season into the house.
There will be a peaceful morning tea, small seasonal changes like replacing winter chair cushions with lighter spring ones, and sewing delicate napkins with a charming chicken print — a subtle hint of Easter atmosphere.
And outside, a glimpse of late winter nature — quiet, still, waiting for spring.
This is a video about slowing down, about creating beauty in everyday life, and about finding comfort in simple, handmade moments.
Thank you for being here 🤍
🍓 Goat Yogurt & Raspberry Breakfast Glass
In a glass, I layered:
• Goat yogurt
• A handful of frozen raspberries
• Another layer of yogurt
• A sprinkle of healthy dark rolled oats
Then I added more raspberries on top, drizzled everything with maple syrup, and finished with a light dusting of cinnamon.
Creamy, slightly tangy, naturally sweet — and perfect for a slow morning.
🥑 Avocado & Salmon Toast
For a simple and wholesome breakfast:
I lightly toasted a slice of bread in a pan without oil — just gently warmed until golden.
On top of the warm bread, I spread mashed avocado.
Then I added slices of salmon (lox), and finished with a handful of fresh spinach leaves.
A nourishing, balanced breakfast — simple and full of flavor.
🥞 Wholegrain Crepes with Goat Cheese & Salmon
For the crepes, I mixed:
• 250 ml almond milk
• 1 egg
• 120 g wholegrain flour
• 1 slightly heaped tablespoon of olive oil
• a small pinch of salt
I whisked everything together until smooth.
I heated a pan and lightly brushed it with oil for the first crepe. Then I cooked the crepes thin and delicate, one by one, and let them cool.
Once cooled, I spread each crepe with creamy goat cheese.
On top, I added slices of salmon (lox), then fresh spinach leaves.
I gently rolled them up, sliced the rolls diagonally — and they turned into a beautiful and very delicious Brotzeit.
Simple, balanced, and perfect for a slow countryside morning.
