I'm good, I'm much better today. You've been a little bit sick but you're in the UK, we love that you're in town and stuff. What is it you love about the UK when you are here? Because it must be a complete different life in comparison to being in LA. It really is and I honestly feel like the people are, that's the first thing that I noticed the first time I come to London. This is probably, besides New York, the place I've come to a lot to do press and come and everyone's always so great. The fashion, I think you guys... Americans always say this and they always say, oh my god, your clothes, but you guys, I think LA is quite eccentric and like, because of the lifestyle and the weather people tend to like dress very cool and relaxed but Americans love our style. Yeah, I don't know if I agree with that necessarily, maybe it's just because I'm used to being around a bit. I just see you pull off this look, everybody always has their own thing. But look at this, I love that you're wearing a flat shoe. Yes, I mean come on, sometimes heels, I can't. We were just talking about it. Can you do, because when you performed at the Billboards, I'm sure you were wearing heels right on stage. I actually was barefoot. Were you barefoot? Oh, because we were just talking about how people like Beyonce can do heels and dance. Can you do that? No, I don't know if I could. I've done wedges, I've had like sneaker wedges that I've danced in before but I can't do that. I heard like something where Beyonce like runs in heels on a treadmill. I know that can't be true. I feel like she said she does that to practice. I'm just like, that's unbelievable. Hey Selena, you know what I've noticed over the last, I don't know, three to four months, you've just gradually become sexier and more comfortable in your own skin. Yeah, you have. Your in-style shoe kind of indicated that and you just looked really hot. Do you feel, because you're 20, you're not a little baby, but sometimes people look at you as this like adorable, beautiful young girl but you're actually a woman. So do you feel like, you know what, I feel comfortable now so I want to show this side of myself? I think, you know, when it's appropriately done, obviously you as a woman, as a young woman, you tend to grow and you want to be comfortable in your skin and you want to be confident. And yeah, so I definitely love being proud of that and who I am and being comfortable in my body. So yeah, as long as it's done tastefully and, you know, like that shoot for in-style was so much fun and it was really beautiful. So yeah, of course. I tweeted about you and we're very lucky on Capitol. We get a lot of like cool, famous, hot people like Justin Timberlake that come on the show. But do you know what was insane? Like the reaction I got for you was just nuts. Like my timeline went insane and they were just like, we love her, we love her. They call you their queen. Oh my goodness, they're so sweet. I know, but like, is it, I mean, it's obviously lovely, but is it ever overwhelming where you feel like when they DM you, because I know you follow your fans too, where you feel like at what point do I not keep the conversation going where I know that I don't have time to be friends with everyone and you have to be careful too? I don't know if it's ever gotten to that point. I think when I tweet or do something, Facebook, share pictures, I think it's generally overall. I always want them all to feel equally as special and involved while at the same time, you know, living my life and making sure that I have things for me and my family that are, you know, private and stuff. But no, I never feel that way. I do feel comfortable with my fans. I feel like they're never judging me. They're more accepting and they're just, they understand and they've grown up with me. So it's actually a loving relationship. You know what else was nice? Normally they will ask you to ask the controversial questions and do you know what they all did? Please don't ask her this, please don't ask that. I was like, wow, she's got them trained. It's not even that, it's just when you have fans and obviously no offense to what you guys do, with it comes to different things, they genuinely do care about the person and they love my music and they love my films. They love everything that I do, whether it's awful and they don't want to admit it. They're like your best friends, but they're like, yeah, you look great, you know, or something. They're just, they're sweet, they're innocent, they're pure and I just love that. That's why I'm more comfortable with them. Can we talk about Billboard? Yes. I've had your gorgeous friend Taylor Swift on the show. I adore her. I think she's a bad chick. She's got a little rude girl side, which I like about her. You two just look like you had a blast. Yes, we did. What was it like sitting next to her and just vibing? Well, we actually request at every awards show that we sit next to each other. So now we've been able to go and they know to sit me and Taylor together. Those things can be kind of awkward sometimes and she's just like been there for five, like been my best friend for over five years now and she's just has my back no matter what. So of course I love sitting with her. We don't care if the cameras are on or anything. We're dancing, we have a great time and yeah, we're in our 20s right now. Do you have any moment where you're both, because I know when me and my friends go out, we check out what other people are wearing and we're like, oh my God, do you guys do all that? Totally. I think we've danced to every, we lost our mind for every performer. We knew all the songs. We were just, yeah, of course. We're like, oh my goodness. Jennifer Lopez, we like stopped for a second. Did you see her performance? Oh my God. I'm like, wait a minute. She's like, she looks 21 and she looks unbelievably hot. Her body is banging. Oh my gosh, she has the abs and the ass. Yes, me and Taylor actually had to stop for a second and we're just like, wait a minute. She's not real. She's older than us and has a better body than us. No, you guys look amazing. But I think you see Jennifer Lopez, she's something else. My producer over there, I've been saying, please, she's coming to town in a week. We need to make this happen. I adore her. Is there somebody, because I know you're ridiculously famous in the States, but I'm wondering, is there anybody that's maybe come to say hi to you, maybe brought their kids to meet you or something that's made you have a pinch yourself moment where you're like, oh my God, this is insane? Brad Pitt. You got to meet him? Yes. What was he like? Unbelievably gorgeous first, but really nice. And I had to hide under my craft table after he left because I couldn't, I didn't believe that it happened. He came in and it was so sweet. And he asked for a picture with me for his kids. I'm like, wait a minute. I can't even, I couldn't even process it. And yeah, he was really cute. So he's hot in person as he looks. Very. And he was super polite, nice to everyone. It was a great moment. When Taylor was on the show, Taylor and I were talking about boys and I said to her, I like bad boys. I said, they've got dimples and they smell good. No, dimples are a problem for me, especially if you smell good too. So Taylor was like, Max, they're not going to change. I'll take it from me. Leave the dimples. She is like, uh-huh, snapper fingers. She was, she was. She was giving me advice. I'm assuming that as a mate, she must give you advice because she was great with me. The dimples is still a problem for me, but I do try and think of Taylor when I see them coming my way. Does she give you advice and stuff? Relationships, work, stuff like that? Yeah, I think Taylor's one of those inspirations. Literally, even through her music, she's one of that, the personality, she's got that vibe to her that you want to be your best friend. Everybody wants to be your best friend and that's because she's, she is a good friend and she writes what you're feeling and you're like, wait a minute, I've exactly, I felt that and that's, that's how she is in real life. You know, she has been through a lot and she's just not afraid to be strong about it and share what she's gone through because that's a confident woman. She's very, very confident. She has, she's got great energy. I can see why you two get along now, it makes sense. Katy Perry, Katy Perry, Rihanna, you I've only just met and Taylor, I can see why all of you guys have got really nice vibes and you're all kind of girly girls that all seem to get along with each other. Katy said this to me, she said, you know, it's very rare that you can be mates with other girls in the industry, but sometimes there's a few and you're genuine and it's not like fake friends. And you've managed to grab a couple of girls that are famous going through the same stuff as you, but they seem like sweethearts. Yeah, you know, honestly, when you find the certain kind of woman or girl that has that same interest, because me and Katy actually did talk about this, girls need to support each other. You know, I think we really need to empower each other and be there for each other. We're, we tend to all be a little competitive. It's, they have this saying where it's like, a guy walks in, he checks out every girl in the room. A girl walks in, she checks out every girl in the room. It's just like, it's like that mentality. So I do truly believe that as, as a young woman and someone like Katy who's older is just, you do have to support each other and just want the best because you're doing your own thing. You've got to just be individual. No, it's true. And the other thing I like about you is even though you're a beauty, you do have these days where you can wear a flat, you're wearing trousers, but you know, it's nice because girls will look at you and think, oh my God, Selena Gomez is so beautiful. But it also allows like the average girl to think, you know what, it's not all about heels and designer dresses and makeup and stuff. Girls must get in touch with you on Twitter and always ask you about your image and the way you look and stuff. Do you ever feel like a level, a little part of you that thinks, I want them to know that these magazines and all this stuff, it's, it's glamorous, but it's not always real. Are you kidding me? We did this interview where they were like, look at the poster of Spring Breakers. You look unbelievable. I looked at him, I was like, that is airbrush. I was like, that is us on the poster and they airbrushed us, of course. I always tell my fans and half the time, I'm sure they've seen me on, when I'm going out with like, just my girlfriends to the movies and I'll have my hair in a bun and stuff. No, I'm definitely not. I'm all about getting dressed up and looking good when I want to, but they should be comfortable. Maybe you're a natural beauty and it's nice that you don't have to do all that. So it's good. Music and acting. You've got your finger in every little pie. The single, Come and Get It, it's a little bit saucy. Yeah, like you're saying what you want. He is married happily enough, of course. Yeah, that's an even better reason and he's too old for you. So even if he was single. I met Bradley Cooper. I've met him a few times, but he's so hot. Because you've got two days. I think they're almost sold out. The first one I think sold out in like less than 10 minutes, which is insane. You're coming back in London, September. What can people expect? It definitely will be a little bit bigger, a little bit more elaborate. You know, I took a year off of music to just really kind of get into it, really have my own individual feel with it. And so now bringing it to life, it's going to be really fun. And that's why it's called Stars Dance. The tour is going to be super fun. I want everybody to just have the best time. So I want to keep a little things under wrap, but they're going to have a great time. All right. So we're looking forward to that September. D Danielle X says, who is your favourite member? Yeah. It's all, it's fun. My friend, she met a guy through Instagram and he looked so hot. And then when she met him away from the filters, he was a different person. Oh, no. See, that's the trouble. I know. Nadine Beebs says, are you ready to be a big sister? Because your mummy is having a baby soon. And have you been helping with names? Yes. I don't know if I'm going to share the name, but I am very, very excited and I'm into it. Yeah. And it's soon, right? Yeah. And so being a big sister, you're going to be on tour and stuff. It's going to be insane. Will mum bring baby with? Yeah, I think for a little while they're not to stay home and stuff, but eventually I'll be touring America. So it'll be a little bit easier to kind of have my family on the road. But 100% she'll be there. Okay. And the final thing, and a lot of boys want me to ask you this. You've kind of answered it a little bit. I've got a little idea of what type of man you like. Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Zayn from One Direction. Although, is that really the same type? They're all mixed up. They're all pretty and they all have nice eyes. That's it. I guess it is that. It's the eyes. But a lot of people want you to know, like, what type of guy do you like? Because you are like this hot, incredibly talented lady. You have been complimenting me so much. Oh, shut up. It's the truth. This is being filmed. So everybody will see. What type of guy do you fancy? Honestly, someone that can make me laugh and nobody with an ego. I can't stand that, you know. I think it's all about loving everybody, being equal and having a great time. So I think that's my type. And what about the swag? I kind of like proper. I like more, you know, up-do and a little bit tucked in, kind of cute look and little loafers or something cute like that. That's nice. I'm going to leave the drop jeans and the dimples.
