We have returned to Walt Disney World and our goal is to try all the new stuff.
At Animal Kingdom, we'll taste new food, drinks, and desserts inspired by the Avatar sequels.
We'll check out the new Zootopia attraction and even meet Nick and Judy.
At Hollywood Studios, we'll investigate a new food stand in Toy Story Land
and find the Indiana Jones cold brew.
But the main event is at Magic Kingdom,
where they now have an incredibly immersive Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar.
And of course, we'll try out a bunch of the food and drink offerings there.
Come with us on this adventure.
So I don't think a lot of people noticed this,
but right after you enter Animal Kingdom, they actually have the dedication plaque.
And this one's actually signed by Michael D. Eisner.
I've never noticed this before.
Yeah, I think we're so excited to see the animals, which are like right next to it.
So we like never stop to look.
Yeah, that's cool.
It's funny, we were walking in and looking at all the birds in this display
right by the dedication plaque,
and they're getting like their morning feeding of lettuce.
And one of the Disney ducks snuck in there and is like going to town.
Good for him, man.
He knows where to find the food.
So one of my missions this trip is I'm on the hunt for these brand new Muppet pins.
It's like all the Muppets riding the classic Disney rides,
dressed up as the Dapper Dans, all the Disney Park stuff.
And I'm not like a pin collector, so I don't know how hard it's going to be to find.
They might all be sold out already, I don't know.
But I'm going to be on the lookout.
So far, I haven't found them, but I did find this cute Chippendale pin.
Oh my god, I spotted some other Disney ducks.
Oh my god, you're stupid.
Yeah, it makes sense that they're hanging out right here.
Yeah, I think they used to hang out in Dinoland.
Dinoland's now closed, so they have a new spot.
First up, we're going to Pandora, which is one of our favorite lands here.
And when you first walk in, there's this giant plant,
which is basically providing the oxygen so we're able to breathe on this planet.
And normally during the summer, you rub it and water sprays out, and it's really fun.
But since it's so cold right now, they have it turned off.
But you could stop and get a photo shoot there, so of course I did it.
And I just wanted to show you some of the photos,
because some of them turned out pretty cool.
So here's a wide shot, but then he did some close-ups,
and then he made me grab onto it.
And then he did that angle, grabbing onto it.
And then, the coolest thing of all, he made me crouch down in the mist.
So now I have this photo with all this mist around me.
So it's lunchtime in Pandora, so we decided to go to Satuli Canteen.
This is the place that you want to eat at.
And I love this place because it seems like an old army base,
but up above, there's all these Navi creations hanging above the tables.
And if you look, right before you order on the wall,
you'll see Marshall Lamb, who is actually John Landau.
He's the producer of the Avatar films, but that's his character in the movies.
He died recently, I think like a couple years ago.
But he lives on here at Walt Disney World.
So I'm going to try the Ocean Moon Bowl.
This has blue noodles, tuna, watermelon radish,
pickled daikon, rainbow carrots, avocado, cucumbers, red cabbage,
with miso and sweet soy drizzle topped with micro cilantro.
And this is basically Pandora's version of a Poke Bowl,
it seems like to me.
And it is so beautiful.
I've been like dying to try this ever since I saw that they added it to the menu.
I think around the time that The Way of Water came out.
And Hot Take, that's my favorite Avatar movie.
So I'm excited to try it.
It's such a beautiful dish.
Although I hope this isn't like the tolkoon meat, you know what I mean?
I don't think so.
Those are the whales.
Sorry, that's where my brain went.
I was like, I feel bad eating like the creatures of Pandora.
Wow, that's a lot of fish on there.
I'm surprised.
What do you think these blue noodles are made out of?
Avatar skin?
Na'vi.
Na'vi skin.
This is very good.
You want to make sure that you mix everything together
because I feel like the star of the show is not only the tuna,
but like the drizzle that they put on top.
And you really get all the flavors and you want to get a bite with like everything.
And I'm kind of like on a health journey.
And I feel like this is somewhat healthy,
has a lot of fresh ingredients.
It has like the nice tuna like protein on there.
And I feel like you get a huge portion.
Like this is something that I would definitely get again,
especially like in the middle of the summer when it's super hot out.
It's nice and cool.
I'd give it like a four and a half out of five.
One thing I appreciate about the Ocean Bowl is it is kind of an adventurous eat
compared to the stuff you usually find in Walt Disney World.
Back home in Disneyland, I feel like you get a lot more adventurous food.
But here at Disney World, you don't really find it too many places.
Of course, they stuck it in the land, the alien world.
And then to wash that down, I got this specialty Ube Cold Brew.
This is Joffrey's Cold Brew Coffee with Ube,
oatmeal, pure cane syrup, and butterfly pea flour.
And it is like bright purple.
This is very sweet and it's really good.
I just like I'm a sucker for anything Ube.
I'd probably give it a four out of five.
I like it.
And for dessert, we ended up getting the Ming Kwan Mousse.
This is a cinnamon milk chocolate mousse, caramelized banana cake,
banana sesame caramel, and chocolate sesame crumble.
And their signature dessert here is awesome.
It's like this like almost like blueberry cheesecake in a ball.
Oh yeah, it's classic.
Yeah, remember that?
But they added this with the new Fire and Ash movie.
The Ming Kwan clan is like the fire people, the ash people from the movie.
And I love how colorful it is.
I know, it looks so cool.
Yeah, let's try this out.
I'm not gonna lie to you, this is a little bit strange.
I think it's that mix of that banana cake and the banana caramel.
But I like it, but it's weird.
And the little chocolate crumbles, like I think that's supposed to be like the ash or something.
Gives it a little bit of crunch too.
As long as you are in for that mixture of the caramel banana chocolate together,
I'd give it a four out of five.
And the new drink here is the Trader's Tailwind.
This is Captain Morgan rum with triple sec, mingo puree, Minute Maid orange juice, chamoy,
ginger beer, and chili lime rimmed glass garnished with a dehydrated blood orange wheel.
And this is a very pretty cocktail, but does it taste good?
Once you read the ingredients, I was like,
oh, Peter's not gonna like that, but I'm gonna like it.
Probably.
Peter doesn't like mingo or ginger beer.
Or ginger beer.
It's not for me.
It's five o'clock somewhere, I'll try it.
I'd give it like a one out of five, Peter.
Really?
It's just not my...
Okay, let me try it.
Yeah, maybe, I think Ketra will like it.
Don't listen to him.
What are you talking about one out of five?
It's a very mingo heavy, but I love the tahini.
It adds like a nice spice to it.
Since I didn't like my drink, I decided to correct that and I went over to Pongu Pongu
where they have a new drink for fire and ash.
This is the Nightwraith Blaze.
This is blood orange, lychee, wild berry slushy,
topped with a glow cube and also with passion fruit juice filled pearls.
And you can also get it with a float of Keto's handmade vodka.
That's what we did.
I spilled half of it on my hand already.
Yeah, I don't think I needed the glow cube, but it's a pretty drink.
The question is, is it as good as the Night Blossom?
I don't think anything.
I feel like Night Blossom is the king around here.
Ooh, this is much more up my alley.
This is very good.
It's very tropical.
Heavy on the passion fruit and the lychee.
I don't really taste the berry as much.
Is this as good as the Night Blossom?
No.
Do I love slushies?
Am I a slushy connoisseur?
Yes.
And do I love this one?
Yes.
I'd give it a solid four out of five.
It's been a while since we've gone into Wind Traders.
This is the gift shop in Pindor.
By the way, if you saw Fire and Ash, then you know the Wind Traders are final eight characters
in the story of Avatar.
Literally in the middle of the movie, I whispered to Peter, I was like,
wait, the Disney World store?
And he was like, yep.
And I was so excited.
I love the Wind Traders.
They're an awesome crew.
I hope we get to see more of them in the next Avatar movie.
Yeah, you also looked over me and you're like, oh my god, it's Pandora from
Disney California Adventure.
Yeah, so they came out with a concept art of what Pandora is going to look like
at Disney California Adventure.
And spoiler alert, if you watch Fire and Ash, you see the rocks that are supposedly going
to be in DCA.
And it got me so excited.
But I wanted to show you this.
So they sell like these little banshees here that you like put on your shoulder.
And they have like a perch for it.
So you could buy this little Pandora rock for it to sit on.
I don't remember that before.
Oh, at first I thought that was like a zipper.
I know, I was trying to figure out what it is.
And then I saw that it said banshee perch.
So you can put your banshee there, which I love.
And then did you see this?
They have a banshee gear pack.
So you could buy your banshee and then you could like buy a little harness for him and stuff.
And make them look all cool.
That's fun.
Oh, I can feel him purring.
Oh, cute.
I love it.
Every time I come in here, I'm tempted to get one of the banshees.
And they have a brand new one for Fire and Ash.
They actually have the night wraith.
It's the white one.
I hate them in the movie, but they're so cute.
And they're a little like this.
I got to like pet it and stuff.
And like it made little noises.
These are really cool.
And I love that they like glow in the dark.
I never realized that too.
Oh my god, honey.
I found a mystery figure box.
You can buy one of these and get various navi or banshees or even like the whale creatures.
Oh my gosh.
Oh no.
And it says series one.
Oh no.
There's so much avatar merch in the store.
And I feel like you never see anybody talk about it.
I never see any vlogs about the avatar merch.
The merch that I particularly like in here is they have this random selection of like
crystals and rocks.
And this was my jam when I was a kid.
Like if I was a kid and I just got off the ride and I was walking through the gift shop,
I would beg my parents to have like a little rock from over here.
So I feel like that's really smart because kids are really into this sort of stuff.
And adults.
But kids in Ketro like shiny things.
I know.
I got drawn to it.
Like Peter came over.
He's like, what are you looking at?
And I was like, shiny.
One thing that's opened up since the last time we were here is Zootopia better together.
This is like the new 4D experience that replaced the bug's life in the tree of life.
Which is kind of sad, by the way, because we lost that at Disney California Adventure.
And now that's gone.
I'm not sad about it.
Do you remember how terrifying that was?
Had like giant spiders that came down from the ceiling.
Had like cockroaches that like ran on your back.
That ride scared the crap out of me.
Gotta say I love the signage, especially having the sloth as the lightning wane sign.
Then you have the cheetah for the normal line.
Okay, so I have an admission.
I don't think I've ever actually been inside the tree of life because we always had a tough
to be a bug over in Disney California Adventure.
So I never had a reason to be in here.
But it's kind of cool to get up close to some of the animal carvings on the tree.
Yeah, there are so many hidden ones in here that I had no idea we're back here.
And it's cool.
Part of the story of this ride, they have these posters and one of them has a hidden
Joe Rohde Easter egg.
So if you know, Joe Rohde used to be like the imagineer that basically was in charge
of animal kingdom.
Yeah, that's why this park is so good because he's a mastermind.
But I'm excited for this.
I love Zootopia and I'm excited to see what this is all about.
Standard.
Okay.
Are you okay?
Celebrating the life giving waters that keep us all turned together.
Where's your next spot, Houser?
Oh, connection.
And on a day all about connection.
Together.
Hey, can we skip them all?
You know what I'm surprised by?
I thought that was actually pretty cute.
Yeah, I loved how it was like a snapshot into each of the little environments.
Although I will say it felt a little bit rushed me like I wish we could have sat there just
a little bit longer.
And one thing that I was not expecting is there was a whole part with like mice that
ran by and they like ran across our back and it really scared me because for some reason
I just thought there was going to be none of that in this but I should have known.
Yeah, I like that they kept some of those old like tough to be a bug like scary effects.
You feel the little critters like running beneath you.
And I love the animatronic, the Clawhouser.
Is that his name?
Clawhouser animatronic.
I love that he's wearing like glow sticks and stuff.
Yeah, it's basically the same one that we saw in Shanghai Disneyland at the Zootopia
land.
And that's honestly the reason why I wasn't expecting like this is because I love Zootopia
and I wish there'd be more Zootopia in the land and like and I feel like having this
as a show means we're never going to get a Zootopia land over here.
When we went to Shanghai Disney we loved Zootopia land.
I wouldn't mind if they brought it to Animal Kingdom.
I know that's like a hot topic.
Some people are like super opposed to it but just trust me you guys the land is awesome
and I think it would fit in so wonderfully here.
Yeah.
But that's like I don't know I just love that we get some Zootopia love here.
Yeah, but if I have any complaint it was kind of like a little like.
All over the place.
Like there's this and this it was like too fast.
And also I think it's funny that like for whatever reason they couldn't get their rights
to the Shakira song.
So like there was just like some they invented like a new song which was cute but like the
whole time.
I think they could get the rights but they have to pay for the rights every 10 minutes
and they didn't want to pay for the rights.
Oh my god Shakira would be so rich if they did that.
Yeah.
Wow.
She should like sell it to them for a bar like a cheap price be like only $10,000 every
10 minutes or something.
No.
Okay let's find some more food.
I think there's like a thing around the corner that's new.
Okay.
We'd like to thank Whatnot for sponsoring this portion of today's video.
As you know lately I've been using Whatnot.
It's a live stream shopping app that lets you watch sellers live and shop and bid for
stuff like Disney pins, collectibles, clothing, bags, and more.
As a buyer I like being able to browse from home and see the actual item that I'm bidding
on.
Find sellers that specialize in the stuff that I'm into.
I love that it's interactive and not the same boring auction site.
You can find deals or things that you never knew existed but somehow now need to own.
Yes.
Ordinary.
I do.
So recently Kitra's been collecting a series of pins that has the Muppets riding Walt Disney
World and Disneyland rides.
She has a bunch of the ones at Disneyland but doesn't have the Walt Disney World ones
and they have the Figment ones.
So I'm gonna bid on that.
Runnin'.
Get it guys.
Whichever one.
Two Muppets pins.
Oh my gosh.
You're starting a wave of craziness.
I won it.
Bidding is so much fun.
It's so much fun to bid on this thing.
And here's the best part.
Whatnot is giving you $15 off your first purchase.
If you use our link to sign up, the link is in the description, pinned comment, and on
screen.
That's $15 off to buy anything you want and there's tons of cool stuff.
So what are you waiting for?
Thanks again to Whatnot and now back to our adventure.
Right next door at the Smiling Crocodile you can find some new Arepas.
That's where I got the Pulled Chicken Cheese Arepa.
This is pulled chicken, avocado dressing, queso fresca, salsa verde, served with plantain
chips.
And I'm not sure if you know this but recently Dinoland closed down.
They're building a new Encanto ride.
And rumor has it that they're testing these because they might have these in the new land
that's gonna be opening over there.
Because as you know Arepas come from Colombia and Venezuela.
That whole like South American region so makes sense.
If true, it makes sense.
Okay let's try this out.
This looks good.
Looks a little bit messy.
Okay so where do I start with this?
I don't know.
The pulled chicken in this is so tender.
I almost thought it was the pulled pork.
They do have a pulled pork one.
But I think what makes this amazing is the sauces on top including that avocado.
But I'm not sure if you know this about me.
I love myself some like cornbread.
I love like all that kind of stuff.
And the Arepa patties or whatever you want to call them are basically like corn pancakes.
Is that what you describe them as?
I think they're like a flatbread.
Yeah.
They're so fluffy and they're so like tasty.
I'm gonna give this a five out of five.
Wow.
So I already want to give this some points because not only is there all this like cheese
on top but then there's like this thick cheese.
Do you see this?
Like all this cheese.
There's so much cheese.
So much cheese.
I love cheese.
I don't even know how to approach this.
Just do it.
This is so good.
I am blown away by this.
Like if we were locals to Walt Disney World and we came here all the time this would be like my go-to.
Absolutely incredible.
This just gets me so excited for the new land and all the new food that we're gonna get.
Because the food at Animal Kingdom is really really good.
And I feel like they're gonna like knock it out of the park if this is any indication.
Ordinary adventure star.
I really like the attraction poster for Zootopia Betters Together.
I think it might be by my favorite artist Eric Tan.
It looks like his style.
But I love this shirt.
It's like a tie-dye.
It's so fun.
Of course they have some party animal merch with everybody's favorite sloth.
Oh he's wearing the 3D glasses.
That's kind of funny.
And they even made a lounge fly backpack.
I love the colors on this with the purples and greens and pinks.
I love.
I just love his outfit with the glow stick.
So in celebration of Zoot-Gether Day,
Nick and Judy are actually meeting in the Zootopia 2 outfits.
It doesn't happen any other day of the year.
Only today.
Wow.
What are the odds that we're here on Zoot-Gether Day?
By the way, it's funny that like Walt Disney Imagineering comes up with these things.
Like they have like in Hong Kong and Frozen Land it's like summer snow day.
It seems to be the new thing that like the land is set in like a particular day.
Yeah.
I'm excited to meet them.
Although I do wish they were in the outfits like their tourist outfits from Zootopia 2.
Yeah.
So good.
I love those outfits.
Or like I saw that they were meeting, I forget where,
but they had like their black tie outfits like the gown and the tuxedo.
Yeah.
So we waited a ridiculously long time in that line.
Like I don't know why but it was going so slow.
But it was so cute to see all the little kids go up to Nick and Judy.
I love watching that.
Like I think it's so fun.
Yeah and I like how they themed the meet and greet.
There's like a little radio that's playing like some tunes and some radio from the Zootopia world.
I know.
They were upset though that I had a chip plush on my bag.
I need to go buy like a Nick and Judy plush to put on my bag.
I felt bad.
They were like what the heck?
Next up we're going to Harambe Market with Restaurant-O-Saurus closed.
They've moved the hamburgers and chicken tenders over here.
But we're not here for that.
We're here for delicious desserts.
So what we got is the Kabwa cookie.
This is chocolate, potato chips, candy, and a gooey dulce de leche center all packed into one.
I love like the potato chips on there.
Hopefully it's actually good.
So to me this seems like something that I'd come up with if I was a little kid.
Give me M&Ms.
Give me potato chips.
Give me Oreos.
Give me everything and put it into a cookie.
I feel like it's really good if you could get a bite that has everything
because the M&Ms are kind of baked in there.
But I wish it was more chocolatey.
It's very salty though because not only do they have the potato chips on there,
but it looks like they also sprinkle like sea salt on top.
So if you're into like the salty sweet flavor, I would recommend this.
So my favorite animal exhibit in all of Animal Kingdom is the Cotton Top Tamarin.
They are so cute and they're so little.
And I forgot the last time we came here like they had babies.
So now there's like four or five of them in there and they are so cute.
I love them so much.
The way that I screamed when we came around this corner just made my day.
He looks like an alien.
Hello.
Do you know that the southern giant anteater eats as many as 30,000 bugs a day?
I don't even eat one.
I mean I think we probably all inhale at least one spider a week.
Not to like freak you out but...
No.
Have you like read up on that?
How many spiders a year do you think crawl into our mouth when we're sleeping?
I don't want to think.
Honestly, that's my biggest fear.
When they lay babies in you.
Okay, never mind.
Like spider eggs in you.
Anybody else have that fear or is it just me?
Be honest.
Wood Studios to Toy Story Land where they've constructed a new food stand
where they have an infamous snack from Magic Kingdom.
And we wonder, is it the same?
We found the new stand right across from Alien Swirling Saucers.
It's popcorn and snacks.
I like that snacks is written on it because it's a popcorn container.
And the windows are being held up by toothpicks.
And we got the Pizza Planet spring rolls.
These are two pepperoni pizza spring rolls served with marinara sauce.
And I know over at Magic Kingdom they have a similar thing.
Are they like $9.49?
Because that's a lot of money for two.
Yeah, they're expensive.
Wow.
Okay, let's try it out.
Okay, there's a reason that this is a classic over in Magic Kingdom.
And I think these are basically the same.
So it's a spring roll with cheese and pepperoni slices inside.
And you dip it into the marinara sauce.
Tastes a little bit like a cheese pizza.
But a little bit more crunchy because it's fried.
Five out of five Peters.
Even though it's $9.49.
If you see Jessie, tell her Buzz Lightyear says...
Tell her greetings.
I am team cheeseburger spring rolls.
Those are like the best.
This is really good though.
I'd probably give it like a four and a half out of five.
It needs more cheese.
I'm sorry.
But it's a great new addition to this part of the park.
So I'm gonna be honest with you.
We came to Hollywood Studios for two things.
One of them being the spring rolls.
And another is some Indiana Jones themed cold brew.
Which you know that I gotta try.
So right outside of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Epic Eats
is where you're gonna find the Epic Cold Brew Spectacular.
This is a vanilla flavored Joffrey's cold brew coffee
with cookie butter cold foam and your share of the treasure.
And it comes with a little chocolate Indiana Jones fedora on top.
And I love that the sprinkles like look like little pieces of gold.
That's so fun.
I feel like I have to drink it fast though
because the hat is already sinking to the bottom of my drink.
Yeah I feel like with all the Walt Disney World and Disneyland cold brews
you need to mix it.
Yeah they're different out here.
Disneyland they're like usually super sweet.
This is just like listen I like black coffee.
I like just straight cold brew.
But this is like you really gotta like coffee.
Mixing it helps a little.
Honestly it doesn't taste like anything that special.
It just tastes like a Joffrey's cold brew with a little bit of vanilla.
But yeah the cold foam on top I thought it was gonna make it a lot sweeter.
But this is so cool.
When I like picked it up everybody around me like at the pickup window was like
oh my god that's so cool.
And I was like yeah I know.
But I do regret I should have eaten the hat first because it's already sinking.
So hopefully it doesn't disappear like the boulder and the stunt spectacular.
The new thing that I'm most excited about
is the new Pirates of the Caribbean themed bar in the Magic Kingdom.
It's called the Beacon Barrel.
Yeah we managed to get a 10 15 a.m reservation.
You know it's five o'clock somewhere.
They have like so many different themed drinks.
They have some food.
They have exclusive tiki mugs.
And I've heard that there's like a talking parrot or something too.
So I cannot wait.
I haven't really watched anybody's videos on it so I have no idea what to expect.
Yeah let's go check it out.
This is so cool.
I feel like it's hidden right next to Pirates of the Caribbean.
You would never know that it's here.
And then they opened the doors and it's this like elaborate pirate tavern
with like candles all over the ceiling.
And it's so like moody in here and dark.
I love it.
Yeah I feel like Walt Disney Imagineering has taken the theme bar up a couple notches.
Like they started with like Trader Sam's.
They did Oga's.
They did Haunted Mansion Bar on the cruise ships.
But like this seems like next level.
So of course they have a bunch of different themed cocktails here.
And the one that really spoke to me is called the Salty Seas Margarita.
And this has tequila, contrao, ube, and lime.
And it's like this beautiful purple color.
It's kind of dark in here so you can't really see it.
But this is a good margarita.
It tastes like a very like salty sweet margarita.
You can really taste the ube.
I feel like sometimes when you get like ube in a drink it's hard to taste.
But this is really good.
I feel like Walt Disney World is really going strong with the ube lately.
And I am a fan of that.
So for my drink I ended up getting the Plunger's Punch.
This is cracking black spiced rum, blackberry, lime, vanilla served in a souvenir pirate skull mug.
And they told us that this is almost sold out.
So maybe the first edition.
So I'm not sure if you know this about me but I collect tiki mugs.
So I had to get one.
And I love that it has like this little gold shiny piece up there.
Let's try it out.
Where do I drink it out of?
His brain, obviously.
His skull.
Oh my god that's a nice mixture of that blackberry and the vanilla and the lime.
Very sweet, very tropical.
I would totally get this again.
I wonder if you can get it without the mug.
I don't know.
Because I'm not sure if I need a whole shelf of skull mugs.
But I'd give it a five out of five.
Or do you need a whole shelf of skull mugs?
Maybe I do.
So I'm smart and I'm gonna use this straw to slurp up the skull.
I can't believe we're drinking cocktails at like 10am at Magic Kingdom.
That's crazy to me.
This one's kind of strong.
Oh my god.
Not a problem at all.
I have some snacks here.
Not much, but we got a few things.
The first thing that I'm going to try is the island provisions.
This is plantain chips, blue corn tortilla chips, and toasted flatbread served with a
mango chutney, a garlic chimichurri, spiced guava, and a zesty cilantro cream dip.
This almost reminds me of like the bread service at Sanaa.
Where you have like all the different dips that you dip the bread into.
So I'm a big fan of that.
So let's see how it is.
This is fantastic.
It's hitting the spot right now.
My favorite combination is the plantain chip and the chimichurri, but all of the dips are
really good.
They have like Caribbean like flavor.
Like it almost reminds me of like when we go on a Disney cruise and it's like pirate
night and they have like mango chutney and all that sort of stuff.
If you're looking for the captain, well, she's off procuring supplies near Tortuga.
Or was it Tortuga?
I can never remember.
I'm sure she'll be back any day now.
Hey, would you get a look at this bunch of rough here?
If you act up like last time, it'll be straight to the bread.
And as for the rest of you, relax and enjoy the grog, mates.
I love that this lounge has an animatronic parrot.
And it's so cool because he'll like lead sing-alongs and it's like interactive and fun.
Anyways, for my snack, I ended up getting the Cook's Corn Griddle Cakes.
These are warm corn cakes stuffed with melted cheese, lime sour cream, chili peppers, and
cotija cheese.
And we got it with chipotle braised chicken.
But you can also get it with roasted corn and poblano peppers.
And I'm not sure if you know this about me, but I am a connoisseur of griddle cakes and
corn cakes.
I love them.
Let's see if this is any good.
Wow, I'm actually surprised because usually the food...
What is going on?
Crusty crackers.
What?
No!
Don't really let me do anything you might have just seen.
Does anyone know how to get a curse out of a tavern?
So I'm actually kind of surprised with this because usually the food at Magic Kingdom
isn't the greatest.
It's probably the worst of any of the Disney parks, to be honest with you.
But this is like so flavorful.
The chicken is cooked perfectly.
The griddle cakes are like nice and like moist.
You know, another thing I love about this place is they give the cast members agency
to actually become characters in the story.
And they like interact with you in a way that like I only see in Trader Sam's.
So actually, I guess they do it a little bit in Oga's, more so in Walt Disney World than
they do in Disneyland.
But I kind of love that.
So I have a pro tip for you.
Order the two items that we did and then take all the sauces and put it on the corn cakes.
What sauce?
All of them, whichever one you want.
I like dipping them all together and eating them all at the same time.
The cast members here are so incredible.
They're having so much fun playing around.
I got myself another drink.
This is Jack Daniel's Bonded Bourbon Honey Lemon and Chili.
It starts out sweet and then gets spicy really fast.
That is surprisingly spicy for Walt Disney World.
Some serious heat.
Oh my god.
I'm gonna give it a five out of five.
I love my some Jack Daniel's.
But like this has like the sweetness of that honey.
I want Ketra to try this.
Okay, I'll try it.
We were just talking to one of the pirates behind the bar.
And I was like saying how early it was in the day.
And she's like, well, it makes Magic Kingdom a lot more fun the more drinks you have.
So cheers.
That's good.
Do I like whiskey now?
What the heck?
I think I like it because it's so sweet.
It's a combination of that sweet and then it hits you with that spice.
Yeah, you don't really feel the heat until the very end.
Like you just taste a sweet like honey whiskey.
And then as it's going down your throat,
you feel a little tingling from like the chili or whatever.
This is really good.
I agree.
Five out of five.
This might be the best drink that we've had in here.
I'm so incredibly impressed by this place.
There's just like so many nooks and corners.
It's like a whole map room, which we're told at some certain point,
the lights go out and then like black light reveals stuff on the maps.
There's like a whole other corridor that like has like these chips and glasses.
I think the coolest seat is there's like this booth in the corner
that's like in a jail cell.
I'd love to sit there at some point.
Yeah, we stood at the bar.
So when you're at the bar, you actually stand.
And I actually liked that because we had a lot of interaction
with all the bartenders there and they had so many stories
and were so kind and funny.
Yeah, one of the bartenders told us that like one of the costumes above the bar
was actually from a famous pirate from Peter Pan.
Yeah, so he was like giving us all the like hidden Easter eggs,
although I can't remember like anything he said.
But it was really nice of him to share those Easter eggs with us.
But we had like a front row seat to the talking parrot
who came out probably every like 10 minutes or so
and always had something funny to say.
I just think it's funny.
I feel like my only complaint of this place is it's like Oga's Cantina
where you only have 45 minutes.
And since this place is brand new, they're very strict.
Yeah, like they came around when we had 10 minutes left
and they're like, you've only got 10 more minutes.
And luckily, we actually booked two reservations for today.
And I'm so happy that we did.
At first, I was like, it's not too much like whatever.
But I think normal people would be fine with one reservation.
But it takes us three times as long to like film everything.
So it's like...
So we're going back in an hour.
And I want to get some dessert.
They have like a dessert.
And then they also have like a mocktail, which I want to get.
Yeah.
And then I also want to get another cocktail too.
So there's like tons of stuff that we didn't even get to try.
Yeah, I love that place.
So, so far, so like that might be my favorite.
I think it's my favorite bar over Trader Sam's.
And Disney property.
It's pretty good.
The drinks were surprisingly good too.
And I know they're just like pre-made.
They don't have like a full bar.
I downed two of them in 45 minutes.
So I'm, I'm bummed.
Yeah, I need to go get myself like a coffee.
I haven't even had coffee.
Jack, have you eaten that Beacon Barrel?
It's actually Captain.
Captain Jack.
If you refer to me properly, we can have a conversation.
Thank you, mate.
What is your favorite drink then?
Everything with the rum.
And the one with the gin, surprisingly enough.
It's actually quite tasty.
Well, thank you for the tips.
We're going to have to take them.
Please do, call them over.
Well, it's nice seeing you.
Very nice to see you as well.
So we have a little bit of time to kill before our next reservation.
So we're going to go on Pirates of the Caribbean.
Jack Sparrow, behind the treasure.
Without a look at this here man.
How short the Walt Disney World version of Pirates of the Caribbean is,
it like just ends.
And then you're walking up this like escalator
that's kind of like the one in Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.
Yeah, and I got drenched on this.
Not by the drop, but like one of the cannon blasts
like got me and this little kid behind me.
And the whole time after that, he just kept saying he was cooked.
He's like, I'm cooked.
So that's like slang for like, you got wet, I guess.
I don't know.
Does that mean six, seven?
It means six, seven.
I don't know.
But he just kept saying, like I kept hearing him say, I'm cooked.
But it reminds me of like watching a movie on a plane or on TV
where it's like edited down to like feel like an hour long.
Like it's like, you know the movie is like much longer
and it has like other like scenes and stuff.
And you're like, where are the other scenes?
Yeah.
Okay, so is it just me or do they have different merch here than at Disneyland?
Like what the heck is this shirt?
Fear the Beards.
What?
I mean, I'm afraid of the beard.
I've never seen this shirt before.
No.
Oh my god, look at this lounge fly.
You have like the little key in the dog's mouth.
I found a shoulder pet of the little parrot that's inside Beacon Barrel.
Could carry him around with you all day.
Look at this.
They actually have a bunch of Beacon Barrel merchandise including this
send me to the brig.
That's a table that I want to go to.
We need to get that table.
Look at this t-shirt with the parrot on there.
It says Beacon Barrel.
I like this, but it's on the back.
That's my only complaint, but it is pretty cool.
Yeah, it should be on the front.
But look at this.
They have another Tiki mug.
This one is for Red the Pirate.
Oh my god, do I need?
I kind of like that one better or I like it just as much as the other one.
But do you really need to?
I don't know.
Do I need to?
This one doesn't have first edition on the bottom.
Yeah, but it is cool.
It doesn't have the gold too, but I kind of like this better.
I don't know.
Do I need another one?
I think you're good with one.
Maybe get that one next time.
They even have a pin with this guy on there.
Okay, we're actually running five minutes late to our reservation.
Hopefully they haven't given away.
All right, so we're back in for round two.
And we're actually back at the bar.
And I was mistaken.
There are two seats here.
The rest is standing.
But it is to be noted there are some kind of bad seats in here.
Like around the corner over there.
There's just seats that like face the wall.
Like you're sitting at a bar and it's facing the wall.
So I feel lucky that we're back here right by the parrot.
So of course I had to get another drink.
I got the Siren's Whisper.
This has a rum, blue carousel, creme de peche.
I don't know what that is.
Creme de peche something lime and cinnamon.
But the best ingredient is she actually came over and she had a little vial of mermaid tears.
And she said that they normally only drop two in there but she gave me three.
So what does her mermaid tear taste like?
I don't know.
But and how did she get those mermaid tears?
I don't know.
But cheers.
It's kind of hard to describe because the rum inside of it.
Normally when you have a rum drink they're like super sweet.
And this one is sweet but it's also kind of dry at the same time.
You really taste that blue carousel.
And I gotta say the mermaid tears are an excellent ingredient.
They almost have like a cinnamon taste to them.
This is uh it's making the hair on my arms like stand straight up.
And I have like goosebumps because like I could feel it just like going into my system.
Maybe it's the mermaid tears.
I don't know.
And I'm still buzzed from the other drinks I had here.
So I ordered myself a non-alcoholic mocktail.
This is the Cursed Treasure.
It's an indulgent blend of coconut milk, cookie crumbs,
topped with a vanilla foam and pirate's gold chocolate cookie.
And that cookie says beak and barrel.
And it comes in a mug that's like copper kind of like a Moscow mule or something.
This is really light and refreshing.
It's like very heavy on like the vanilla coconut flavor.
It kind of like tastes like the inverse of a hot chocolate.
It's like vanilla and it's cold.
So it's not quite hot chocolate.
It's like the complete opposite.
I like it.
I'd give it like a three and a half out of five peters.
Would it taste better with some rum in it?
If you ask Jack Sparrow, everything tastes better with some rum.
By the way, our bartender here, our pirate,
told us that there's a loop of like two hours long of like things that happen in here.
So you only have 45 minutes.
So you're not going to see everything.
You got to come back multiple times.
So I also had to grab another one of the snacks.
And this is the Kraken's Catch.
So this is octopus tentacles marinated in lemon and lime juice
with olives, bell peppers, avocado and pepper almond foam.
But if you look closely, you could see some of the little octopus tentacles in there.
Which like always freaks me out.
I'm not gonna lie.
This is delicious.
It is nice and fresh and a little bit tangy because of that lemon and lime.
And I love the saltiness of the olives in there and the crunch of the peppers.
My only complaint is like I wish there was some of that like pita bread
or like plantain chips or something that we got earlier.
With all the dips that you could like dip in this.
Well, that would be a good tack.
You could get both at the same time.
And then if you have leftover chips, dip it in there.
But this is very nice.
I just feel like it's kind of missing that.
There's just like little baby tentacles in there.
They're not I thought they were gonna be like these big massive.
So when you hear the word Kraken, you think like a giant octopus.
But they chopped it up into really small pieces.
Batten down the hatches.
What'd he say?
Secure the...
And they do offer a dessert option.
This is called the Treasure Trove.
This is a mysterious ube, lemon and coconut concoction.
And it's served with a vanilla cake plank,
chocolate cannonball and golden caramel popcorn.
And I gotta be honest with you when we ordered this,
we thought it was food and not a drink
because we didn't read the description correctly.
But you know what?
I'm all for another mocktail.
Tastes like like Sprite with like a vanilla and like ube.
The drink is not good.
I'd give it like a one and a half out of five peters.
Honestly for me, this is a pass.
But if there's any reason to get it,
it's the dessert accompaniments that come with the drink.
So this plank is basically a vanilla cake pop.
It's fine.
The chocolate cannonball is very chocolatey.
And then you got some caramel popcorn.
That's all delightful.
The drink is a skip.
Oh no.
Gotta walk the plank.
I'll just eat the plank.
Okay.
I don't think this is as bad as you're making it out to be.
Do I love it?
No.
Do I hate it?
No.
To me, it more tastes like a lemon and coconut.
Like it's very watered down.
That's my only problem.
As we were leaving, the lights in the map room went out.
So I ran over there and some text appeared on the wall.
It was actually pretty cool.
Yeah, I couldn't really see it from where I was sitting.
I thought it said treasure, but it actually said beware.
I was like, oh my god, is it pointing to the treasure?
And then the bartender was like, no, it says beware.
I was like, oh.
I love this bar.
Yeah, I had like way more fun the second time.
Maybe it's because we got to sit down.
I don't feel as like rushed as I did the first time.
Yeah, I'm not sure the mocktails are great, but the cocktails really hit.
And some of the snacks are really good.
Yeah, I really enjoyed that.
I wish we had something like that at Disneyland.
Or they need to bring this onto a cruise ship.
Replace the Haunted Mansion Parlor on one of the new ships and put this
with the animatronic parrot or something like this.
Yeah, I mean, I love the Haunted Mansion Parlor, but this needs to be in more places.
Yeah, there's just so many details.
I could spend hours in there.
I wish we could spend hours in there.
You know what I mean?
It's a shame that we only get 45 minutes, but I'm feeling good.
That was a good time.
I'm happy we finally got to go.
This is the TTA Blue Line.
Speaking of Pirates of the Caribbean, the best pirates in the world is in Shanghai Disneyland.
If you haven't seen our visit to Shanghai, we'll put it right over there.
I want to say thank you to some of our Patreons.
That includes...
Tiffany, Kendall, and Eric.
Thank you guys so much.
Thanks for watching, everybody.
We'll see you on the next adventure.
Bye!
