Good morning and happy Sunday in a rare turn of events. I'm in Midtown today. I rarely come to
this neighborhood in Manhattan but I haven't been to the Modern Museum of Art, the MoMA,
in quite some time, possibly over a year, so I thought I'd rectify that situation today.
I have a little bit of a solo day and I thought we could walk around Fifth Avenue afterwards,
have a coffee, maybe do a little bit of window shopping, and then we'll see where the day takes
us. The day is beautiful today. We actually got some sunshine which we haven't had in quite some
time and we're about to have amazing temperatures this week in New York, like 60 degrees, so
it is already beautiful today and I'm very excited to see some art, so let's go.
While we walk to the MoMA, a quick word from today's sponsor, Squarespace. Squarespace is the
all-in-one platform that helps entrepreneurs and creators like me succeed online, so if you're
building a website, Squarespace makes the entire process super simple by putting everything you
need all in one place, no coding required. One of my favorite things is its powerful design tools
with Blueprint AI. You can build a fully customized website in just a few steps, share a bit about your
industry and goals, and it generates a custom design layout and content suggestions. And if
your goal is to grow, Squarespace also includes built-in SEO tools that help optimize your site
automatically, making it easier for your target audience to find you through Google search. And for
creators, Squarespace makes it super easy to sell your content from online courses and blog posts
to videos and memberships. You control the price, choose between one-time payments or subscriptions,
and build recurring revenue directly through your site. That's what I do on newyorkpolice.com, where
I sell my New York City Guide to you all. So if you're ready to create your own corner of the

Just finished in the MoMA, had a lovely, lovely lunch snack, and now we are headed straight across
the street to the MoMA Design Store because I just love browsing all of the different design objects
and I see they have a really cute window display. Just left the MoMA Design Shop, it's so cute. They
have a whole mini collection of fake foods, like a MoMA Mart, and there are things like socks
packaged like food and candles and all kinds of little trinkets, so extremely adorable. And now
I'm gonna head to Fifth Avenue and do a little bit of window shopping. I think we'll just probably
walk by some stores and maybe go into one. I also would love an afternoon coffee, so we'll see. And
I highly recommend the exhibit I went to for the Capsule Tower. It's actually free, so if you go
into the MoMA, you can go into that exhibit without purchasing tickets. And the exhibit is all about
the Capsule Tower by Kisho Kuragawa, which unfortunately has been demolished, but if you're
an architecture fan, I highly recommend. It was built during the Japanese Metabolist Movement,
it was meant to be kind of these capsules that were changed out over time. I don't think that
ever happened, and like I said, unfortunately, now it's no longer in existence, but there is a
capsule that was restored in the exhibit, and it's free. So that exhibit is the perfect thing
if you want to dip your toes without actually committing to the ticket price. You can also,
for free, go outside to their little terrace in the courtyard that you saw, and it's a really
lovely space. Otherwise, if you do get a ticket, check out their new tower, that's what I stuck
to today, and their cafe too, as well as the terrace restaurant. They're both really lovely
if you need a quick break. And honestly, I could have spent more hours looking at art,
but I do want to get coffee, so let's head to Fifth Avenue.
Watch House is a really solid coffee option if you are in this neighborhood, because the coffee
shops are few and far between. So that's my go-to whenever I go to the MoMA, or I'm out here
shopping. And now we're going to head to Rockefeller Center, because there's a new homeware shop
that has popped up there that I want to check out. Looks like Saks still has its holiday display up.
I don't think it's running anymore, but you can see remnants, and I am pretty sure that the ice
skating is also still going on. The homeware shop is no more, sadly. The stores in Rockefeller
Center switch over quite a bit, but I am going to head into Todd's Snyder, which is right here
as well. It's one of my favorite men's stores, and Jackson's birthday is coming up, so I'm going to
do a little bit of browsing. All right, I found something for Mr. New York, please. Hopefully,
he likes it. And no peeking, I hope, because he does watch these videos. But I am now headed
back home. Thank you so much for watching, and I will see you again here next time. Bye!
