Hello everyone, this is Hallyu Reviews.
And we did our first B2B reaction over the holidays with A Winter's Tale.
Absolutely loved it. Found out one of our favorite actors is in the group.
Completely loved the song. Loved the video. It was very cute. And our channel blew up.
So we had a million requests for B2B. We are happy to oblige. We really enjoyed
making a listen at them over the winter. To them, not at them. We listened to them,
not at them. A look at them. And we had a gazillion requests specifically for their
Killing Voice. Now we have done the Killing Voice for Seventeen, which was phenomenal.
So check out that reaction if you haven't yet. But I don't think we've done anyone else. But
I know that Killing Voice is known for just amazing concerts. And if the groups are great,
especially vocally, I think they really shine in this sort of setup. So I am very excited to take
a look at this. Don't know any of the B2B songs. Didn't take the time to translate all of that
because as you can see, all of the titles are written in Korean. So this feels like a very
blind reaction. I absolutely love it. And we're going to get into it and take a listen to B2B.
Here we go. I thought mics seemed really high. Okay, they were far back.
Oh, look, they bow. That's so cute. They sound super quiet though. They do.
Okay, let's let's start this over again. I have the list of songs.
They really do look small. They must be coming in from behind like walking up.
Oh, they're so uniformed. Look how cute they are.
Super quiet. We turned it up. He's also not talking directly into the mic. Like he keeps
turning his head away while he's talking. See? That's better. See how he's standing and talking
directly into the mic. Yeah. We're gonna get subtitles. Oh, that's sweet. They look like
rap boys.
I didn't look this up to see when this was.
So that's the only one that you and I are familiar with. That's their actor.
If you didn't say it, I would have been able to tell. That actor.
This is Woo.
Woo.
By the way, this whole compilation is available on Spotify.
I was trying to look it up and it took me to Spotify.
He's looking right at that camera.
I know. I was like, oh, I know that word. No subtitles.
Killing voice.
So is that Shin?
Was that technically rapping?
He raps. He's a rapper and a singer.
But apparently he's American.
Not him. The other one.
The one on the far right.
I think he's the leader.
The main rapper?
Maybe?
I don't know.
I could be wrong.
That's Yook Sungjae.
That's the one we know. Sungjae.
He's adorable. I just want him in my pocket.
Oh, my second confession.
You're the first one that worked out so well.
I think that one is Lee Minhyuk.
I think I'm the last one.
I like that.
That's like a booty call.
Avoid it also.
Decline.
What is it? Swipe right for now?
Swipe left?
Is it left or right?
Yeah, I think that's Jihoon.
See? Let's get it on. It's a booty call.
It's definitely a booty call.
Sure.
He's just throwing out names now.
He's not a reliable source.
Who's that one?
Say that one.
I was listening to an article the other day.
It said...
The Korean is more...
It's like Americans are too direct in their pronunciation.
It's the romanization that doesn't help.
That's why I like to sing in Korean.
It's true.
Oh, that's pretty.
They're playing guitars.
They're so silly.
You know, as a group, they seem to have a lower tone
than other groups.
I mean, they can sing high for sure,
but their tone is lower,
which makes them stand out, I think.
They have a very clean-cut image,
at least in this performance.
I wonder if that's what they're known for.
I love the air guitar.
I don't know. A clean-cut image saying,
let's get it on.
I still like the air guitar.
Their lyrics aren't as hidden in the music.
I feel like this could be an OST.
Doesn't it?
Oh!
Woody! I know that one.
A lot of conviction.
And they really know
where to place their
mouth towards the mic
to not affect the vocal,
like the volume and stuff.
That's a lot of work to do there.
I can hear fluctuations.
He's moving it perfectly.
He's like, wow!
I can hear it.
That's one of my favorite parts.
See, I told you they could sing high.
Like you said, their conviction.
They look right at that camera.
Their conviction is very strong.
Are they praying?
They're praying to be your man.
I know that one.
He is in it.
He looks like he's in church.
He looks like he's laughing.
Oh, nice harmony.
I love when they're rapping.
As a total song,
this might be my favorite part.
And they've all been so good
that I really like this.
They remind me of GOT7
too, in a way.
I love it.
Me too.
Isn't that crazy?
I think I should drink this beer.
Blue Moon.
Cinema version.
Would this be an OST?
It seems like it would be.
I wonder if it was normally made
to be an OST
and then it was picked up
and used as an OST.
Maybe.
2021.
Blue Moon sounds familiar.
I was thinking something about music.
These two in the middle are trouble.
Well, these two on the end
like to do the strong guitars.
He's got to move his head
Oh, yes.
Is he the main vocalist?
That's what I'm thinking.
I think so.
He seems like a main vocalist.
It seems like a Gone with the Wind
sort of type song.
They've had a very
diverse variety
of genres on the list.
So what does it mean when a sentence ends
in Korean?
Because they've done that a couple of times.
Hoody is together.
Hoody is like we are for us.
But that shouldn't be
at the end of a sentence.
I'm a little confused.
Because they end in a verb.
Typical BTS.
What about that ending?
That was still part of a sentence.
The rest of the sentence
ended in a verb.
These are all ending in verbs.
He's like, I'm not doing it.
I'm pretty sure that
the one in the blue sweater
would be in a font.
The one that was in my hand
seems to be very hard to read.
I make words all the time
I just end in a Y.
Does that end in verbs too?
Eatery.
It's not a verb.
It's a good thing you're pretty.
Let me do an adjective.
Eatery.
And they
the viewers were not lying.
They can smell.
The salads are insane.
So this must have been in 2022.
That's 2023.
So this is 2023.
So this would be
They normally end with their newer stuff.
Right after.
I feel like they're going to come back.
I was kind of thinking the same thing.
I'm like, come on now.
Aww.
Ooh, the color behind them changed.
Wow.
Glad his eyes are closed because
that would be what he was expecting.
You're in a personal bubble.
Big Bang would kiss there somewhere.
Smack on the butt or something.
They are known for that.
I thought he was going to say something.
He did.
That's really cute.
I would love the killing voice.
We need to do more of them.
I think it just showcases their overall range
and variety of music
We've seen all of two,
but I definitely think you're right.
I think you're right.
That was really, really nice.
When have we seen three?
I can only remember 17.
Didn't we see XO?
Was XO the killing voice?
We did see XO, you're right.
Yeah, that was killing voice.
So we have seen three.
My apologies.
Think about the three that we've seen.
17, XO, and now B2B.
Those are definitely vocal powerhouses.
That was a lot of fun.
So much fun.
We knew nothing about B2B.
Just getting started with this
with our whole holiday reactions.
We knew one of the singers is from Scotland.
That's all.
I mean, I love
the whole point of us
doing this channel is to explore
Hallyu and to just learn
all that we can about it.
The groups, the dramas, everything.
This has been so fun exploring
new groups that are new to us.
They're not new, obviously, but new to us.
This was one group that we hadn't
done much about.
I had never heard of them.
I had heard of them, but we hadn't
done anything with them, really.
This just shows you the power
of the recommendations and the viewers.
We do our best to be a viewer-led channel.
We thank you guys so much
for recommending them.
This was a lot of fun.
Not only were they uber talented vocally,
great rappers,
but a lot of fun.
They were so much fun to watch.
The strumming on the guitar, picking on each other,
applauding while they were singing.
Yeah.
I think that's one thing
that makes groups so special
is when you see
their genuine affection
and camaraderie.
The chemistry of
them being together.
I don't know the story
much behind B2B, but they had
the song called Brother Act, and then
they had the finale, Brother Act.
I like that idea.
I come from a family of
I'm the only girl always,
so brothers. It's all about the brotherhood.
I'm just a brother with boobs.
I'm just different.
It's that way.
I'm a sister, and I have two sisters.
You're a house full of girls.
There is
something about brothers
that is just so
unique and beautiful.
I'm probably extremely biased
because of how I grew up, but I just love
when you see the groups
that you like and admire, when you see them
together getting along.
The same thing goes for girl groups as well.
We're learning this about Twice and other groups,
but I love seeing this
with B2B. That was a lot of fun.
They were really fun, and they were
very talented.
I would love to see more.
They started off almost deep
and then almost
lower.
In the end, they went
very high and very diverse.
They had a very
variety of
genres.
It was really cool.
It was a lot of fun to watch.
I think I can say safely that we were
both interested in listening.
If you are a fan of B2B,
make sure that you like and subscribe
down below so that you can see all of our content.
You can actually learn all of their names.
I missed the first one in the beginning because I think
I had him wrong, but I think I know who he is
now. There's not too many of them.
What?
17?
I can actually learn
all of them. You could learn 17
too.
We've got this.
Make sure that you give us some direction.
We got a lot of direction from viewers,
but a lot of the recommendations were actually
for The Killing Voice.
Make sure you let us know where we should go from here
and we will do our best to honor those requests.
If you like
dramas, make sure you check out our Hallyu Reviews
website where we tell you which dramas to
watch, must watch, and completely
skip.
Save the trauma of a bad drama, y'all.
That's right. Until next time.
Annyeong!
