It's official, Shin Hye-sun never disappoints. Her portrayal of Hyeri and Eun-ho in Dear Hyeri is captivating. At the end of the last episode, Hyun-ho kissed Eun-ho, who was breaking apart, to help center her. Some viewers who favor Joo-hyun think it was out of place, as she wasn't herself then. However, Hyun-ho knows Eun-ho the best, as they dated for a long time. You could see in Eun-ho's eyes the plea for him to do anything to stop the torment before he decided to kiss her. He can be seen taking care of her in the preview for the next episode. Meanwhile, the last four episodes gave much insight into Eun-ho and Joo-hyun's lives. Viewers have yet to gain insight into Hyun-ho's life. He refused to marry Eun-ho four years ago and tearfully broke up with her. However, his actions four years later indicate that he might still have feelings for her and might have left her for a reason. When he heard of her predicament, he wore two mismatched shoes in his haste to find her. What's more, from his cousin Soo-jong's words, it seems there's a reason why he decided to break up with Eun-ho, as Soo-jong says it can't be Eun-ho, because she'd run faster than anyone. This implies that something could be amiss with Hyun-ho. However, seeing Eun-ho's breakdown tilted the scale. He sticks by her as she mentally battles her guilt, frustrations, and agony over her sister's disappearance. Despite her resistance, he sticks around to take care of her and help her get through the deep. Meanwhile, Hyeri seeks to take control of Eun-ho's body. After her sister's disappearance and the subsequent breakup with Hyun-ho, in a bout of depression, Eun-ho reads her sister's journal, and upon finding out her sister's dream, she decides to fulfill it. She cosplays as her sister, Hyeri, but in her grief and weakened mental state, she ends up splitting her personality between her sister and herself. Hyeri is gradually getting stronger as she's in love with Joo-hyun. She even asks Eun-ho, who's currently going through a tough time at work, to let her have her body. This is like asking to be the primary personality. Meanwhile, it seems like Eun-ho is aware of Hyeri's existence, as she doesn't question why she wakes up in another apartment other than hers, and wasn't surprised to find a note from Hyeri. In the preview for the next episode, she's shocked to see Hyeri's therapy session, where she explains why she should be in control of Eun-ho's body. Meanwhile, Hyeri and Joo-hyun are stealing some of the viewer's hearts, with their oddity. Joo-hyun is yet to know that Hyeri is an alternate personality. In the preview, he watches in bewilderment as Eun-ho walks with Hyun-ho to her apartment. It also seems like Eun-ho and Hyun-ho's relationship gets better in the next episode. What's more, some theorize that Hyeri, Eun-ho's younger sister, who disappeared, could be alive, but might have lost her memory. That she could be Hye-yeon, who's enamored with Joo-hyun. If this is the case, Eun-ho should be able to recognize her sister. The scar on her sister's arms would be a giveaway. What's more, it seems more people might know of Eun-ho's illness. The worker who allowed her initial strange request, was the same one who defended her against the annoying director. He should know that there's something different between Eun-ho and Hyeri.
