'A First Step Forward': Researcher Backs Bill Against Organ Harvesting

Senators Ted Cruz and Jeff Merkley have introduced a bipartisan bill titled the Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act. The legislation would impose sanctions on those responsible for forced organ harvesting. For decades, China has been harvesting organs from prisoners of conscience to supply its transplant industry.

Cynthia Sun, senior researcher at the Falun Dafa Information Center, joins NTD's Iris Tao to discuss the CCP’s transnational repression and how passage of the bill could help protect those targeted by the regime, including those on U.S. soil.
