Princess Kate Takes Home Indian Sweets For Children At Leicester Cafe

The Princess of Wales visited an Indian restaurant during her visit to Leicester. She visited Bobby’s, a restaurant run by married couple Dharmesh and Enna Lakhani. Bobby’s has been on the Golden Mile for 50 years. The Golden Mile in Leicester is an infamous road, known for having some of the highest concentrations of Indian jewellery and South Asian wear. Princess Catherine had tea with the couple, they told her about the history of the restaurant and their family, and she mentioned her love of spice.

From the cafe, she bought coconut-flavoured Indian sweets for Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.
