Everybody had a crush on you, and she had a crush on you then. And this is what she said. I think of how sweet Keanu Reeves was, and how it was hard. It was really hard for me to really be serious. He would look at me, and I'd be like, hee, hee, hee, hee. Did y'all get together? Did you date him? Never dated him. Really? There's something about me that I guess he didn't like. That's not true. I think it's true. No. He never, never. He was probably intimidated. Not at all. There's nothing to intimidate. I'm not that. Yes, you are. But I think we're probably friends for that long, because we didn't. Yeah. Right. She obviously didn't know I had a crush on her, either. Oh, wow. Wow. Very handsome and attractive. Very dashing, lenient. Everybody had their favorite suits on. Ah, she's a beautiful lady. She has a nice, such a wonderful energy about her and her life. She's just, wherever she goes, she really gives and wants things to be springtime. I've enjoyed her company immensely. Oh, yeah, she's a really great actress, too. Being, like, you know, the complete damsel in distress. Excuse us for a moment. You'll be there. Because that's what friends are supposed to do. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Is that what it was? I don't know. But it's 16. Oh, you're 16. I'm nothing without you. It's true. You are nothing without me. I am nothing without you. So, I don't know. It's great, too. Ha, ha. Yeah, I mean, we've come to touch, and we're dinners. Who's not in touch with you? We can tell, like, you are so good. Don't stop. See, didn't he kiss me like that when we did Speed? Not the truck. No, but there was, like, a, each kiss is different. The Speed kiss was perfect. That was great. But we'd gone to see, you know, a few film, and he just went after her. And I'm like, oh, I don't know. Ha, ha, ha. A couple of them, three is different character, different relationship. That's what I'm saying. It's a different kiss. Different kiss. It's real beautiful, isn't it? It's hard to remember. You want me to go, or you want me to go? Sure. Well, I don't know. And being back together again, what is that like? It's great. It's really nice. I mean, I like to get a guy's attention. I'm so happy. Guys, look. I'm in your heart. I know. I'm talking about a very shallow relationship. It was like you two were friends. I don't think you can force that. You can. We have. The truth comes out. Remember, we're actors. We're liars. What is that about? And I think if you don't like someone. Do you know how to get at each other's nerves? No. Not at all. You know, and then the first kind of kiss. That was the most memorable filming day for me. Well. Is that how I communicated with him? When he would leave the country town. It was all through letters. And it forced me. I love writing letters. But I would sit down and write. And I'd see something that reminded me of him. Send him some truffles or thoughts. All the kids. And you have it forever, too. I don't know. Do you still have it? Yes, I do. Where is it? The two letters? Yes. They're in a briefcase. Some personal belongings. Some letters that I have from the past. He does keep it. I just remember him to use with the undershorts. How long will I need you? Long term relationships. Long distance. Not long term. Look at him. Long term relationships. I don't like him. Don't believe him. I've always wanted to do a long distance relationship. I just kind of feel like I need to, like, stalk him a little bit. The craziest thing is that I don't have anything. You don't share. No, you don't share. You don't need to share. It's nice to be able to fall in love with such a great partner and a friend and a great actress. I keep telling him we need to do a stage show and just travel. He mentioned Sandy. He was like, oh, right. Oh, her. Yeah. No, it was perfect. Like in the film, the anticipation makes you want us all that more. Wow. And, uh... Try and beat that one. Wow. Black leather pants. Not seeing my friends. Doing a great movie. But alone. Okay. Not seeing friends. Yes, you have to say something. Yes. With me. I... I enjoyed, uh... No, no. The second kiss. Um... I thought you were kissing her like a hot dog. No, it's just... It's a big moment. You know? And it's... There's a couple of things. Because there's movie kisses and then there's real life kiss. And then there's kind of coming together with movie, real life kiss. Um... And in this moment, I have to admit... I mean, if you see the film and you like the kiss, then... Um... I was directing. I was kind of... I was... I was not taught. But I was... Sandy. Sandy directed me. I mean, I had the feeling... What sound did you make at you? Sandy directed me. Okay. I had... I kind of wanted to go. And I was seeing a big moment. And Sandy was just like... Grabbing me. Ah, okay. Okay, but... I feel Keanu has had a kiss like this. And I said, as a woman... Yeah? Like what I thought. Yes. Yeah? I said, just don't let me speak anymore. Don't let there be any talking that I want. If it's been that long, just shut me up and take my face. And he did it. This is the way it should be. They shouldn't go it alone. It's not so good when you're wrong. Very sure. This never happened at you. I'm sure. Before. This never happened before. Before. Very sure. From when I first met her 12 years ago, that girl is now a beautiful woman. He's not changed. He's just... He's more of the same person that I grew to love and admire when I first met him. And I'm thankful that he hasn't changed. He's just grown into the man who I love and admire. Even though he's lying, because he'll go, Aha! And if he's done doing that, he's lying. I say it's him. He's so thoughtful and remembers things that you've forgotten, you know, months ago. And he's... I think we're equally pessimistic and cynical, but we're equally closet romantics. Good book? Good book. Well, no. That's hard. Letters or email? For him? Sneakers or flip flops? Sneakers. Sushi or barbecue? Sushi. Fart? Are you serious? No, I think... I think you should... Floss, perhaps. Oh, he doesn't matter. He's a person. No, you're a car. But I would say tend to lean towards flot. I'm telling the truth. Pickup truck or... For me to drive? Pickup truck or motorcycle. Um... I'd take motorcycle. Keanu, now I need to do what I do best, which is wait for him to come help me. I'm just going to do a lot of sitting and waiting for him to come help me. Because he's good at it. The last time we saw you together was for Speed about 10 years ago, and now you're working on The Lake House together. How's that going? It's great, but yeah, we finished it, and now it's coming out in June. They still like each other. Have you kept in touch over the past 10 years, or was it just Speed and then The Lake House? Dinner, hang out, you know, birthdays. It wasn't enough. I mean, I'd like to have been in more scenes with him and worked with him more, but that maybe just gives us a chance to do it again in something else. But for this story, it was absolutely perfect, and I don't think I could have done this kind of story without him. I mean, I know I couldn't have. This story means what it means to me because of him. Yeah. Well, I hope you never say that to me. I'll be that honest. I hope you always say I'm good. You're patient. You can have this at the end of the film, but just be patient. You look great. There are some good ones in there. Usually you kiss for the camera, so it's not like you kiss at home. It looks weird. Because it looks weird. So you don't get to enjoy them like you would if you were kissing at home, but we slipped a couple good ones in there. You have to forget that part. You have to forget that you're friends. Yeah. Yeah, right? Yeah. Well, it kind of goes away.
