A Calm Modern Home That Grows Naturally From the Landscape | House BP

House BP, designed by Santiago Berlotti and completed in 2024 in Mendiolaza, Argentina, is a 400-square-meter residence that carefully responds to its rural landscape through orientation, materiality, and spatial clarity. The house is composed of contrasting volumes—one solid and introspective, the other light and open—creating a balance between privacy and expansive views of the surrounding fields. Social spaces are organized as a continuous, flexible interior that seamlessly extends outdoors through a longitudinal gallery, while private areas are arranged with greater enclosure for comfort and climate control. Using textured cement plaster, wood, metal, and glass, the project blends into its natural context, presenting architecture as a quiet extension of the land rather than a dominant object.
