We're going to point to some things on the board. Here we go. Wow, look at our

Every letter makes the sound and F says. Can you try that with your teeth and your mouth? Go like
this. F says. Let's put F on the board. F says four. Have you ever seen a fan in your home?
Can you say fan? A fan can help us stay cool when it's really hot in our home. We can turn on a

perfect time to find out. What's the weather? Is it sunny? What's the weather? Oh, I wonder what
the weather is outside. Oh, I think we can ask our friend Bear Bear. He loves to check on the weather.
Oh Bear Bear, can you help us with the weather today? Hi friends, I'm Bear Bear. I'm here to help
Miss Monica with the weather today. If you didn't know, we are in the season of fall. Some people
call fall autumn. Fall is one of our four major seasons. We have spring, summer, winter, and fall.
Where I am in the fall, the temperatures go from warm to cooler winter weather. So it gets real
cold here. In fall, the leaves on the trees all turn colors. Then the leaves fall to the ground.
Today is a sunny day outside. The sun is shining, but it's a bit cold outside. So I want to put on
my red hoodie. Friends, which one is my red hoodie? You can point. You're correct. Now I'm feeling okay.
Thanks for helping me find my red hoodie friends. Have fun learning. Bye. Thank you Bear Bear. Now
friends, we know it's a sunny day. Can you say sunny? It's a sunny day. Oh, should we put our big sun
on the board? Great. Let's put it on the board. It's a sunny day. It's a sunny day. Thank you
friends. You're such great helpers. Okay, let's go back to our board. Color. What's our special
color of the day? Drum roll please. Today's color is red. Can you say red? Again, say red.
One more time, say red. Oh, look at that. There's pictures of two tomatoes. What color are the
tomatoes? Red. Let's sing about it. Red tomatoes, red tomatoes, red, red, red. Again. Red tomatoes,
red tomatoes, red, red, red. One more time. Red tomatoes, red tomatoes, red, red, red.
Let's put our red color card on the board. Tap, tap, tap. Today I was outside and I saw lots and
lots of leaves. I wonder if we can find some red leaves or maybe other colors too. Let's see what
colored leaves we can find. Will you go outside with me? Great. Let's go. Friends, we made it to
the park. Look at all of the trees. There are so many colorful leaves. Let's see what colors we can
find. I see red leaves. Oh, let's keep walking. Oh, I see green leaves too. There are lots of yellow leaves.
I see orange and brown leaves as well. There are so many different colors during the season of fall.
Let's sing about it. Red, yellow, orange, and brown. Lots of leaves on the ground. Red, yellow, orange, and brown.
Lots of leaves on the ground. Red, yellow, orange, and brown. Lots of leaves on the ground. Red, yellow,
♪ Yellow, orange and brown, lots of leaves on the ground. ♪
That was so much fun.
Friends, in the season of fall, where I live,
you see lots of leaves starting to fall on the ground
and change colors.
And it even gets a little chilly outside
when the fall season comes.
We also see lots of different animals running around.
Do you know one animal I see a lot?
I see the squirrel.
Hello, little squirrel.
Can you say squirrel?
Squirrel.
Squirrels like to gather up all their nuts and save them
because winter's coming soon.
So they have to get as many nuts as they can.
Squirrels also like to play
and have fun with their squirrel friends.
Have you ever seen a squirrel?
Yes, some squirrels are brown.
Some squirrels are gray.
Some are even black.
Can you say squirrel?
Squirrel.
Yes, squirrel.
I'm going to put the squirrel on the board.
Oh, look here.
Tap, tap, tap.
We have a new place to put our animals.
It says animals.
The squirrel is an animal.
Oh, guess what?
We may go back outside again today if we see a squirrel.
Make sure we say squirrel, okay?
Did you hear that?
Listen, listen.
I think it's the doorbell.
Who is it?
Duck, duck, duck.
Oh, duck, everyone.
Wave to duck, duck.
Can you wave your hand?
Like this, side to side.
Hello, duck, duck.
We're happy you're here today.
Hello, duck, duck.
We are so happy you came today.
Oh, thank you, Miss Monica.
We missed you, duck, duck.
I miss everyone, too.
Oh, duck, duck, we went outside today
and we saw lots and lots of leaves.
You did?
Wow.
Because we're in the season of fall,
lots of leaves are falling and turning colors, too.
Would you like to go see some leaves outside?
I would, I would.
Oh, but before we go outside again, duck, duck, guess what?
I collected lots of leaves in this bag.
Take a look.
We have a lot of leaves.
Today, we're going to do a special art project
called Leaf People.
Wow.
Would you like to make a leaf person with me?
Yes, yes.
Friend, would you like to come, too?
Great.
So if you collect leaves, you can make a leaf person, too.
Okay, we have to go to our table
for this very special activity.
So off to our art table.
Come on, everyone.
Here we go.
All right, we made it to our art table.
We are ready to create.
Duck, duck, are you ready?
Yes.
Friends, are you ready?
Me, too.
Now, friends, I went outside and I collected so many leaves.
Wow, look at all the leaves, duck, duck.
We found red leaves and yellow leaves.
Ooh, and even an orange leaf
and brown as well.
In the season of fall,
leaves start to turn colors on the trees
and then they fall to the ground.
You can see this in many, many places where I live.
Leaves turn all kinds of colors,
especially red and orange and brown and even yellow, too.
So I got to collect some leaves
and we can use them to make a leaf person.
So these are real leaves from outside.
Look, duck, duck.
Feel them.
They are getting a little dry
because they've been inside.
When they get dry,
they start to make this crinkly sound.
Listen, like a crunch.
You hear that?
Listen.
Feels almost like paper.
And these leaves over here.
Here, you can hold this one, duck, duck.
There you go.
These leaves are not real.
I printed these leaves out.
So we have real leaves and fake leaves,
but they're all so pretty.
So pretty.
So today we're going to use our leaves
to make a leaf person.
So all you need,
if you collect leaves and want to make a leaf person,
you'll need a piece of paper
and you can rip it in two pieces.
I ripped it in one, two pieces.
I'm just going to use one for now.
So I'm going to hold it vertical the long way,
put it on the table.
And then I want to make sure I have markers.
Look at all the markers, duck, duck.
Wow.
I have markers and some glue.
Okay.
And then we have to pick a leaf.
That's the first thing we do.
We decide which leaf we want to use.
It's okay to just use one leaf.
For this leaf person,
we're going to use one leaf, duck, duck.
One leaf, friends.
I think I'm going to use this one.
You like it, duck, duck?
All right.
So I'm going to glue it down.
So this is going to be the body of my person.
Thank you, duck, duck.
Yes, let's get some glue.
You can open the glue.
Hold it.
Thank you.
Duck, duck, open the glue.
Okay, and you can help me turn it.
Turn, turn, turn, turn.
Good job.
We just turn it up, up, up, up.
I like using glue sticks
because they're easier for us to hold and paste.
Now I'm going to turn my leaf over
and I'm going to put lots of glue on my paper first.
Lots and lots and lots of glue.
How about we count to 10 and then I'll stop.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10.
All over because we really want to make sure the leaf stays.
And I'm going to add a little to the top.
Here, duck, duck, you can help.
Hold it tight.
There you go.
Add a little to the bottom and then to the top.
Good job.
Thank you, duck, duck.
And then I'm going to tap, tap, tap.
Ready?
Tap, tap, tap and press down.
Again, tap, tap, tap and press down.
Make sure your leaf stays on.
Now, might have to add a little more glue
because the leaf is getting so dry.
It's going to need a lot of glue
to stay on this piece of paper.
Yes, duck, duck said, yes, yes, yes.
Yes, yes, yes.
We need lots of glue.
Okay.
I added all of my glue.
Okay.
And if you need friends at home,
you can ask a grownup.
They can always put some tape on it too.
Here's my leaf.
Look at that, duck, duck.
Thank you.
Okay.
Now we're going to add eyes and a nose.
Oh, let's start with eyes.
This is going to be my leaf person's head right up here.
I'm going to use my black marker to start.
Can you help me open that, duck, duck?
One, two, three, pull.
Oh, let's try again.
One, two, three, pull.
Oh, good job, duck, duck.
Okay.
I'm going to add, how many eyes do we need?
How many friends?
Let's count our eyes.
One, two.
Let's count duck, duck's eyes.
One, two.
Let's add two eyes to our leaf person.
One.
Here's one.
Two.
Here's two.
Let's make them a little bigger.
All right.
And let's add a nose.
Nose.
And I'm going to add a smile.
A mouth, but it's he.
This little leaf person's going to smile.
Look at that.
Look, duck, duck.
Okay.
And now we can add arms and legs.
So now I'm going to add some arms.
I think I'll use the red marker.
How many arms, duck, duck?
One.
Two.
One.
Two.
And let's add some legs.
I think I'll add the purple marker for this.
One.
Two.
Wow.
And then we're going to put some fingers at the top here.
Some hands and fingers.
One, two, three, four, five.
Five fingers.
One, two, three, four, five.
Wow.
And I think my little leaf person is missing one more thing.
Like you, duck, duck, some hair.
We need some hair.
Okay.
I'm going to use the brown marker for some hair.
Let's add some spiky hair like duck, duck.
You can add as much or as little as you'd like.
Look at that.
Wow.
I think my leaf person is finished.
Do you like it, duck, duck?
Yes.
Look, everyone.
Look at how simple that was.
You can make a leaf person too.
Oh, my friends, if you make a leaf person,
make sure you share, share, share, share.
I'd love to see it.
Oh, I hope you had fun.
Did you have fun, duck, duck?
Me too.
This was so much fun.
Maybe I can use my other leaves for something different.
Maybe I'll make a tree next.
Not today, but maybe another time.
The leaves are falling.
Bye, everyone.
Oh, it's not time to go yet.
We have to go back to our circle time board.
Let's go.
Leaves are falling.
Yay.
Oh, it was so much fun.
I love making leaf people.
My leaf person is so cute.
Did you have fun, duck, duck?
I did.
Oh, now, Miss Monica.
Oh, well, that's okay.
We're so happy you came to visit, duck, duck.
Everyone, let's wave bye-bye to duck, duck.
Remember, wave your hand side to side.
Bye-bye, duck, duck.
We'll see you again soon.
Bye, friends.
Bye, duck, duck.
That was so much fun.
I love when duck, duck comes to visit.
Well, my friends, guess what?
We're all the way on this side of the board.
It's time for us to count.
Yay.
Make sure you get your pointers
or you can use your pointer finger.
Do you remember how to count from one to 10?
I'm sure you do.
Let's get ready.
Get ready.
Here we go.
How to count.
Yes, I do.
I know how to count.
I can count from one to 10 without a doubt.
How to count.
Yes, I do.
I know how to count.
We can use our fingers to help us out.
Will you count with me?
Let's count from one to 10.
I can count by myself or with my friends.
Will you count with me?
Clap, clap, clap.
Counting, friends.
Let's do it again.
Love to.
We did it.
Oh, I'm so proud of you.
I knew you can count from one to 10.
Oh, my friends.
Since we did some counting,
how about we go outside and count some leaves?
Let's go again.
Will you come with me?
Okay, great.
Are you ready?
Here we go.
One little, two little, three little leaves.
Four little, five little, six little leaves.
Seven little, eight little, nine little leaves.

Should we sing it again, friends?
Sing it with me.
Here we go.

Oh, boy.
That was so much fun.
We found so many leaves.
Thank you for counting with me and singing too.
Oh, my friends.
It's almost time for us to say goodbye.
But before we go,
we have to end with one of our circle time songs.
Will you sing the wheels on the bus with me?
Great.
Let's stand up and go to our dancing corner.
Here we go.
Hey, everyone.
It's time for the wheels on the bus.
Get ready to dance and repeat after me.
One, two.

The wheels on the bus go round and round.
Round and round.
