Hawkes Bay is a really popular destination to travel in New Zealand, possibly due to the fact it's the oldest winemaking region in New Zealand, and the second largest in terms of production — so tasting our way around Napier, Havelock North & Hastings wineries was a must!

— We kick start our DIY wine tour on bikes and head to Te Awanga
— Next is the Urban Winery for some beers as well
— Our half day wine tour then started at Moana Park Estate
— On to Ash Ridge
— Then Oak Estate
— Final stop for the wine tour was Askerne (where you get the delicious Rose, Fleurty!)
— We cycled on to Clearview Estate
— And wrapped things up at Elephant Hill

It's pretty clear one of the best things to do. inHawkes Bay is to taste lots of wine, explore the vineyards and take some kind of a tour! Hope you enjoyed virtually tasting aloing with us.
