How do you feel being back with me? It feels like no time has passed and we've just always been doing this. I'm so excited to be back. I'm having so much fun. Everyone looks incredible. Us four are closer than ever on this one. We're all family and we've been together through this whole zombies journey. So it feels cool to be a little bit of a legend in the making. We're here shooting the opening number, Legends in the Making. We've been rehearsing this for so long so it feels so great to finally do it. The vibes on set are... This is the song where it's like, we back. There's like 60 plus dancers. It's crazy. Yes! Yes Meg! That's how you open a movie. Zombies 4 picks up with Zedd, Addison, Eliza and Willa. Excited for, you know, summer break. They get into a bit of a... on the side of a mountain and then it becomes this whole new adventure. They call it the rotisserie. You're on a thing and like it spins. All the sets that they built here in the studio are just fantastic. But when we were not at the studio we got to experience many different places. We shot the Ain't No Doubt About It rendition at Bethel's Beach. I feel so zen right now because it's so peaceful here. It's all so comfortable at that dynamic and chemistry. It's all there. When we walk in here we feel the magic and that's perfect. Zedd and Addison have been through so much. We started when we had just turned 16 and now we're almost like an old married couple. It's really sweet. Miss you already. I've missed you all year. They've become one and it was so beautiful on screen. We look like fairytale characters. I'm very grateful to have this one by my side the whole time. There's no one more excited about today than me. It's the first day of freshman year for me, me, me. I am Malachi Burton and I play Victor. You're looking especially regal and imposing today. I'm Freya Skye and I play Nova. You've got to be prepared. Victor is the swaggiest vampire you will ever meet in your entire life. He's fun loving. All right 10 minute break. He's an all-around great guy. It's fun to be around. Nova, she's a day walker. Strong-minded, strong-willed and she's a very girl power vibe. Day walkers, our journey begins. They both have lots of differences that really complement each other. Day walkers can harness the powers of the sun. They have like fire powers and then the vampires can control the wind. What's happening? Every single character has such like a amazing individual story which also brings them all together so nicely. There's also this like really sentimental story and message behind it coming out of the norm and not always following what the older generation says and like trying something different because it might just work out. The vibe is just edgy, it's fun and it's something new. I'd say generally the Kiwis are just a little sweeter. In New Zealand they do a lot of period pieces, a lot more dramatic stuff for people to be able to work on a musical as light-hearted as this. It's sort of a breath of fresh air. They are the coolest, most talented, sweetest people ever. There are fantastic dancers here which are in our dance crew. We have cheerleaders, we have acrobats, we have great stunt performers. We really have everything we needed and more. Choreography, it's all amazing, it's all insane. We spent a lot of time filming festivals and dancing on the sand is hard but it was so much fun, it was just such beautiful scenery. There's so many different styles of hip-hop in all of it. All the dancers are just unreal. Working with the Kiwi cast was awesome. They're so warm and generous with their knowledge and perspectives. When we're on set or we need advice or we need tips for something they're just so helpful and they've just been the best. We're at the Zombies 4 premiere which is just absolutely insane. It's nearly impossible to put into words. We're currently at the premiere of Zombies 4, Dawn of the Vampires. We're here to celebrate the movie and literally everyone who was a part of it. I'm so excited for people to see this movie. I grew up with these films, actually being in it now is so special. I've been a Zombies fan for as long as I can remember. The fact that I'm even at the premiere is insane to me. It feels like just a night to celebrate everything and all the hard work that's been put in over the past year. It means so much that we're passing the torch to these five amazing new kids. I was a little nervous to pass the torch just because I love this franchise so much and the second I got to know them and meet them I was like this is a great idea. The OGs are such incredible people. They welcomed us with open arms. Working with Milo and Meg has been the most incredible experience. I definitely relate how exciting and also nerve-wracking it is stepping into something so iconic. I'm so grateful to be here with them and to watch them shine. And the world is going to be obsessed. Obsessed. I think something about the Zombies franchise, it is so eclectic. You know there's something for everyone always. I think they're going to be surprised about the songs. It's something that families can sit down with their kids and watch and have a good time. The message that it gives. To accept people no matter what you look like and no matter what you believe in. It's love and community and just being all together. It feels very nostalgic, kind of old school Disney. What's not to love about the Zombies franchise? This franchise has brought me so much love and light into my life. Immense gratitude is what I'm feeling. It's been a tough year. I really miss you all. I have an idea. Coach, I promise I will only think about football this summer. We're gonna be back on the road in no time. We can get split up to find help. We'll cover more ground that way. What is this place? Hey! Am I glad to see you! Daywalkers! Vampires! Easy now. Chill, chill, chill. I'm not a Daywalker. I'm a cheerleader. Vampires are evil and ruthless. He's just green and clueless. Thank you. Yes! Wait, that's me. Okay. The Vampires and Daywalkers hate each other. How much longer can we live in fear? Do you feel safe? Because I don't. We come from a town called Seabrook where all monsters live together in peace. That is not gonna happen. Counselor Zed reporting for duty. Isn't this awesome? If you two show that you can work together, it shows them that they can work together too. Yeah, let's do this! There are enemies, Nova. Ow, sorry. Reflexes. Victor! Working with our enemies? Prepare for battle! One of our towns won't survive. It's them or us. For what you believe in. Because what's on the line is your future. This is war! Seize them. Why should we listen to you?
