Trains Around The Christmas Tree - Lionel And Marx and RMT

Episode 96: One of my fondest memories of Christmas is of the countless hours I would spend every year laying on the floor watching my Lionel trains endlessly circumnavigate our Christmas tree. My imagination stirred with thoughts of travelers returning home for the holidays in the eye-level train before me while above me the changing pattern of colored, twinkling lights reminded me of the aurora borealis.

Christmas records on the console stereo completed the effect, and I could sit for hours absorbing the mesmerizing sights and sounds.

This year, thanks to a new puppy in the household, there is no Christmas tree or train, so I thought I'd share images of Christmas layouts past.

Merry Christmas, and keep the trains running!
