Iran by Train: The Trans-Iranian Railway

After decades of travel restrictions, Iran is beginning to open up to foreigners. A train journey is probably the best way to get to know any place and in particular, this unknown to so many place so rich in culture and history.

The Trans-Iranian Railway is the most important rail link running circa 1,400 kilometers from the Persian Gulf via the capital Tehran to the Caspian Sea.
