and we got some snow falling out there for everyone. Some spots is fairly
light. Other areas seen some a good burst of snow right now. You can see
some lighter snow here in Westfield, but looking up to the north greenfield
and snowing pretty good for a little bit now about a half hour or so. You
can see the reduced visibility and some of those big flakes just kind of
falling. So we're gonna hold on to some of the snow through the first half of
the afternoon, eventually change over to some sleet and freezing rain and
even some plain rain at times. Winter weather advisory is up for everybody.
We got that breeze nice and light out of the south. Air temperature is mostly
in the twenties, 25 North Hampton, 26 in Springfield, 25. They're also an orange
throughout the rest of the day here. We're gonna continue that snow again
through the first half of the afternoon and then going into the evening. We'll
actually change over to a little bit of some sleet and freezing rain and then
I think here in the valley, even plain rain will mix in at times. So that
wintry mix for today is the top of the 20 storm team forecast focus. Tomorrow
is a completely different day. We'll see a lot of sun tomorrow and a
temperature right around 50 degrees. So we're gonna go from winter today to
spring tomorrow and then we have a chance for a few range hours as we go
down towards the weekend. You can see the first round of some snow out there
for everyone. We get these darker shades of blue from around Chester
Westfield up through North Hampton, even the back through around New Salem
and Belcher Town, even even orange. That's where I see some of the more
steadier snow clouds of radar. You can see the system at first is kind of
broken up a little bit, but notice back here off to our west. Some of this pink
shading that is some of the frozen precipitation in regards to freezing
rain and sleep, and we're gonna be dealing with that as we go through the
rest of the day. The 20 storm team sky cast 12 o'clock here going towards
around three p.m. Notice snow continues during the afternoon,
eventually transitioning over to a little bit of some ice here going into
the evening. Notice here the pink shading is indicating that sleet and
freezing rain. And then I do expect even here in the lower valley will change
over to just some plain rain by later tonight. But up around Greenfield back
into the hills, that's where you might hold on to just some freezing rain
before this ends around midnight. So in terms of snowfall accumulation around
our coding to an inch or two for a lot of us here in the lower valley points
off to the east, but up around Orange, Greenfield, Deerfield back into the
Berkshires. That's where you could squeeze out a few inches of some snow,
especially in the higher terrain and towards the Vermont state line. There
could be some shovelable or definitely some plowable snow possible there. And
then all of us could definitely see a coding of some ice up to a 10th of an
inch of ice can't be ruled out. Maybe a quarter of a quarter of an inch of ice
can't be ruled out some of the hills. But overall, I think icing should stay
pretty minimal, and then we'll change over to some plain rain as we go
through later tonight. So 30 to 34 out there today. Wintery mixed snow ice
eventually changing to some rain as we go into this evening for tonight. I
think all this is pretty much over with by around midnight or a little after
temperatures don't move by much 24 to 30 degrees for tonight. For the rest of
the Twitter distort team seven day forecast here. We do have a lot of sun
tomorrow, though, and temperature is quite mild in the low fifties for the
day on Wednesday. Chance for some showers by the end of the week, and
then we want things right back up. Could see high temperature on 60 by
Monday of next week. Once you got all of this forecast, you could do so by
getting the free to do is bubble out.
