Good morning guys! Welcome back to another vlog.
Today's video, we're taking you along to our favorite go-to breakfast spots near Camp Humphreys.
It's crazy to think we've been living in Korea for two years.
Time really flies but one thing that hasn't changed, we are still early birds.
For us, breakfast starts early like 7 30 in the morning.
One thing we noticed living here compared to the states
is that most breakfast places in Korea don't open until 10 o'clock.
There aren't many 24-hour diners or early spots like IHOP or Cracker Barrel as well.
So we're really happy when we found few places that actually open early.
And the best part, most of them are less than four minutes from our apartment.
So let's start our breakfast diaries.
First stop is All Day's Bakery.
Cute little neighborhood bakery that quickly became one of our favorites.
They're known for their homemade sourdough breads and sourdough sandwiches.
Everything here feels fresh and homemade.
They also serve scones, cookies, and some seriously delicious cheesecakes.
And sandwiches are amazing and perfect for light but filling breakfast.
They open nice and early at 7 a.m and closes at 6 p.m
which makes it perfect for early risers like us.
Next is Theo John's Cafe located super close to Yungi.
This place is a lifesaver for early mornings.
They open at 5 30 a.m on Tuesdays and 7 30 a.m on the weekends and they close every Monday.
Our go-to order here is their french toast plate paired with a caramel macchiato.
The portions are big and the food is comforting and honestly this just hits the spot every time.
Our third spot is Cosmic Cat Bagel.
If you love bagels, this next place is a must.
Cosmic Cat Bagels make homemade bagels that are perfectly chewy and fresh.
They open at 7 a.m but don't wait too long because they close at 2 p.m.
Our favorites here are the keto sandwich,
the bagel and lox, and tomato basil pesto sandwich.
It's one of those places where everything tastes homemade and comforting.
Stop number four is Tag Egg Toast.
Located inside the Ville, about three minutes walk from the walk-in gate.
This popular Korean chain specializes in fluffy egg toast sandwiches
with tons of different flavors.
Our go-to breakfast orders are the shrimp crab pesto sandwich and the bulgogi sandwich.
Sweet, savory, and super satisfying for a quick morning bite.
This is shrimp sandwich with some crab, shrimp, and basil.
This is my go-to thing, the basil because it's sweet.
The sweet basil sauce.
Last but definitely not the least, the Pancake House.
There are two locations on base.
One near the walk-in gate and another one by the bus stop.
It's a classic all-American diner serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Our usual orders, Meat Lover's Plate and the Baby Dutch Pancakes.
My absolute favorite thing here is their thick-cut bacon and honestly, hard to beat.
And that wraps up the breakfast diaries.
Our favorite early morning spots near Camp Humphreys.
Living in Korea as early birds definitely took some adjustments,
but finding these places made morning feels like a little more like home.
If you are stationed here or just visiting the area,
hopefully this gives you some ideas for your next breakfast run.
Thanks for coming along with us and we'll see you in our next vlog.
