We Tried HOT TENT Winter Camping with ‪@KaraandNate‬ (In a STORM)

This week we show our pals ‪@KaraandNate‬ how NOT to set up a winter hot tent camp. Unbeknownst to us all there was a huge storm rolling in with heavy snow fall which made our hot tent idea on a beautiful beach in snowy Norway a little difficult. The tent had a wood stove inside which we would light as soon as it was up but this would have clearly been incredible dangerous if we had managed to get the tent up! Camping in a snow storm in a hot tent is not clever - do not do it! The night of winter camping was not meant to be and we all ended up sleeping in the bus. This didn't stop the storm though! We had parked in an icy car park and felt as though the strong winds were going to blow the bus across it! But despite the hiccups (because there were a fair few not to mention our air con unit flying off the top of the bus in the blizzard!) we managed to collectively have the 'best worst week ever' and laughed our way through the whole thing. Perhaps we'll get another winter camping adventure in when the weather is better!
