Murakami Kibori Lacquerware

Early 19th century, the history of Murakami-Kibori-Tsuishu has begun when Murakami samurai learned the technique from Toukoku who is a master craftsman. Murakami-Kibori-Tsuishu use hou, katsura and tochi, and carve into wood, and recoated the lacquer on it, red lacquer finished is representative.
