Making Our Living Room Cosier In England | Baking & Country Walk
There’s a special kind of magic in taking your time 🌿
A five-day slow living journey of restoration, memories and quiet moments in my English home.
This week, I’m giving a second life to a thrifted vintage cabinet. It took days of gentle sanding, cleaning, and mixing a soft taupe shade for our living room.
While the paint dried, the kitchen became my cosy retreat: warm baked apples with maple syrup, and my mum’s orange cake with a blood-orange twist. Citrus scents, rose-petal tea, and slow afternoons made the wait so much sweeter.
Join me for a quiet vlog / ASMR experience — soft brush sounds, shifting afternoon light, and a late-February sunset walk with robins singing.
No rush, just the quiet joy of creating a home that tells a story.
