Hi guys, this is Hung Vang Goh. Welcome to my YouTube channel.
If this is your first time, welcome to my channel.
And if you are regular, thank you so much for all the support.
Today I'm creating a warm tone lips with a cool tone shadow for date night makeup.
And Melissa from my brand, she here lent me her gorgeous canvas
for me to create this makeup look. I hope you enjoy the video.
Give the channel always a lot of love. Subscribe to the channel if you haven't yet.
And don't forget to follow all of us on social media as well.
Thank you.
To start every makeup, I always prep the skincare first.
Melissa has amazing skin, but like I say in every video,
if someone has beautiful like this, I still want to prep the skin
because that's the most important step to create a beautiful, flawless makeup.
The first product I use off-camera already is the Lumify
Bosch and Lom Redness Reliever Eye Drop.
This one is almost every time I do makeup on a client,
it helps to reduce eye redness. It brightens your eye.
Even if the eye is not red, but I feel like using a little bit of this,
it does help to brighten the eyes.
The next product I'm going to use is DL Set Lip Oasis Glossy Treatment.
This one provides a lot of moisture and hydration.
It does have vegan squalane and lactic acid, polyglycerides,
and it does help to give that plum effect, vegan and cruelty-free.
The next product I'm going to use is also from DL Set.
This is their new product.
I had a chance to try them before it came out, and it's really quite amazing.
It's called Total Clarity Dark Spot Serum.
You can see that Melissa has beautiful skin, but she does have a little bit of pigmentation.
Most of us do. After 30, you have to worry about the pigmentation for sure.
So this kind of serum is a great serum for someone who wants to brighten those dark spots.
This one here is very light texture.
It does help to fade the look of dark spots or uneven skin tone.
Even if you don't have any dark spots,
you still can use them if you want that brightness in the skin.
Remember when I say brighten, it doesn't mean whitening the skin.
So it just helps that brightness in the skin that you're trying to achieve.
The great thing about this vitamin C serum, it is great for sensitive skin
because a lot of time, a lot of people do find that vitamin C can be a little bit irritate their skin.
And this one is a vitamin C alternative.
It works as vitamin C, but it's less harsh irritation on the skin.
For eye cream, I'm going to use Smoothing Vitamin C Eye and Expression Line Cream.
You see that we use a lot of this eye cream.
It's great to prep under makeup as well.
It's a lightweight eye cream.
It does contain vitamin concentrate, free biotics, and it's fragrance free.
This video is not sponsored.
I usually like to use the product to prep from the same brand for, you know, all the products.
So that's way easier for you to navigate where to buy and everything.
And it's less complicated.
And a lot of times, similar brands with products,
they have ingredients that compromise each other as well.
So that's why I like to use the eye cream and serum and moisturize with the same brand.
For moisturizer, this one is Nourishing Squalane Daily Moisturizer.
This is a moisturizer that contains squalane, hyaluronic acid.
It's great under makeup or you can use alone.
It's hypoallergenic as well.
Keep in mind that this is more a lighter moisturizer.
Well, for me, I find them more lighter, but some people, they think it's perfect.
So if you want more heavy moisturizer, you can use their night cream for day as well.
But this one, if you want a lighter moisturizer, it's fantastic moisturizer.
I think for Melissa, it's perfect.
Personally, I like more a thicker moisturizer.
But if you're under makeup, this is great because it doesn't peel
or it doesn't move, doesn't roll.
So it's good to use under makeup.
As I always say, give a lot of love to the skin.
Give a little facial massage.
It helps to wake the skin up.
For sunscreen, I'm going to use Hydroshear 100% Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30.
This winter time, so you wear makeup as well.
I think using 30 is great.
But in the summer, I would like you to reapply sunscreen a bit more.
I know people think that they don't need sunscreen.
But when you get as old as I am, you will appreciate to wear sunscreen when you're younger.
And this one is a mineral sunscreen.
It contains no mushroom, which is very hydrating and botanical for hydration.
It's very sheer finish and fragrance-free.
Great for sensitive skin.
You see that it doesn't have any white cast at all.
So I like to put sunscreen everywhere, even on the neck as well.
For foundation and concealer today, I'm going to use CL Cosmetic Tint
and Protect SPF 50 Tinted Serum Foundation.
And the concealer is Conceal Plus Protect SPF 50.
And these are two shades I'm using.
The shade range, I'm using the color a little bit warmer than Melissa's skin tone.
Just because her body, she quite more color and I don't want the face look too white.
So I just want a little bit warmer so I can blend to the rest of them.
This is a great tinted serum foundation and it is weightless.
It does have skincare and make a hybrid product.
It's beautiful from light to medium coverage.
You can use by your finger.
You can use the brush as well.
It's natural finish and it's fragrance-free.
For this foundation, I'm going to use with a brush.
And this one is the BK Beauty and Nicky La Rose Artist Brush.
I believe this one in the second collection.
And I think you really should check out these brush collection they have.
They are incredible.
They have the first collection.
It's always sold out.
I didn't have a chance to use them when I first came out because I didn't film any YouTube then.
But I just been using them a lot.
These brush collection is amazing.
They have many different brushes.
So today I'm going to try to use quite a bit of them.
You can use for anything.
You can use it for contour.
You can use it even for like someone who want to use for concealer.
You can too.
I mean these brushes are incredible.
This is not sponsored at all.
I just didn't have a chance to use on the video before.
So I just want to share with you now.
As I mentioned already earlier, this is the Serum Foundation and it does have SPF 50.
But even the product have SPF, I still recommend people to use SPF separate.
Because I think that the SPF on the foundation is never really enough for you.
It's great that it have some SPF so you can have some protection.
But you should always use some SPF after skincare before the foundation.
And you see that she use a little bit because Melissa's skin is beautiful.
She doesn't need too much foundation.
Normally she doesn't wear foundation at all.
But you see that this is just really beautiful light to medium coverage foundation.
And this is such a great brush for that.
But you can use your finger as well.
But if you want to use brush, this is a great little foundation brush.
And it does get you every corner here.
You see that it's this little triangle thing.
It's really easy to get you every corner of the product.
You see that so this is really beautiful like a tinted serum.
For someone who want very natural skin, not too much coverage.
I mean you can sheer it out even more if you want to.
And it does have SPF in there.
So it's really great.
For concealer, I'm using mainly under the eye area.
Like this brush I'm using today.
They can be anywhere.
So this one here I'm using for concealer.
Most people might not use this for concealer.
I think this brush is really for like a blending eyeshadow.
And then you can blend again with the finger.
I like to use both.
So you see that you can do that.
And the concealer you see that I use a little lighter.
Because I just want that little brightness under the eye.
And this one also has SPF.
And it is natural skin finish.
It's hydrating as well.
And this one is medium to full coverage.
I feel it's more a medium coverage.
And it does contain mineral SPF as well.
See that?
I'm doing the same under the eye.
For powder, I'm going to use the Cosette Cloud Setting Powder.
This one is a sheer and a soft setting powder.
You can use loose powder or pressed powder.
For this look, I'm using more pressed powder.
And to be honest, I'm leaning slowly toward more pressed powder.
Because I feel that it's a lot easier for people to apply.
And it's less messy.
So I'm going to start using a lot more with the pressed powder.
And just a little bit.
Because I still want her skin to look still radiant and natural.
So you just want to set where you want to set the makeup.
But the rest, you just want to leave to shine still a little bit.
Because I want the skin to look really fresh and radiant.
And this brush is also from the BK Beauty and Nicola Roche collab.
It's fantastic.
You can use it for blush, for bronzer, or any product you want.
See that?
Just a little bit.
One tip I want to advise everyone about using pressed powder or powder in general.
When you apply powder on top of like a moist skin, like foundation,
it does oxidize, does look a little darker.
For example, Melissa, if I use a foundation shade like this,
the powder I should use a little bit lighter.
Because if you try to match the powder similar to foundation,
when you apply them, the skin will look a little darker for sure.
So try it.
You see that I use a pretty bit lighter color.
And it just works perfectly.
It's still exactly the same color.
The foundation, it doesn't oxidize in a way that it looks so dark on the skin.
So keep that in mind.
So a lot of times, you know, I saw people do like,
okay, compare the two different powder.
But then the two shades, like one is really dark, one is really light.
And of course, you can't really compare that.
So it's better just to use the shade like, you know, somewhat like the same.
If you compare the formula, the two formula, I mean.
But then this one here, I use a little lighter.
And then it set perfectly.
For bronzer, I'm going to use the new Rare Beauty Soft Matte Powder Bronzer.
The shade I'm using is called Sunplay.
I'm going to use the new brush they have for the bronzer as well.
This one is a smooth and blurring bronzer.
And it's long wear.
For any type of bronzer, doesn't matter my brand or Rare or any brand.
I do not recommend people do like this.
I see that every day.
Which is like, doesn't matter what kind of formula they create.
You can get dusty everywhere.
And I say this almost every video for blush and bronzer.
Please apply with a gentle hand.
You see what I'm doing?
This all you need has enough product you can get.
You see that?
It's a lot of product already.
So that's why you don't need to go really crazy.
And this great about this brush is that it can create dimension the way you want.
You want really sculpted or you want really just like a soft like this.
You can do like this.
Or you can go really detailed on sculpting the face with this one.
Melissa doesn't need to have contour.
But I'm using the bronzer just to give a lot of more life in the skin.
And then I'm going to make her a little bit more sculpted.
You see that?
Just the angle of the brush is amazing.
But this one is a soft matte finish.
It's very lightweight, vegan and cutie free.
And it gives you that beautiful blurred finish.
I was one of the first people to try them last year when they first finished them.
And it's just really beautiful.
And I'm so glad they came out with this one.
You see that?
Just really gorgeous shade.
And if you want a deeper shade to get more sculpting you can.
I usually recommend people have two shades of bronzer.
One is their winter bronzer and one is their summer bronzer.
Because the winter bronzer, you want a little color.
But you tend to be more pale than, you know, you just have a little color.
But the summer everyone tends to be, whether you tan or not,
for some reason, because of the sun and everything, your skin has a little more color.
You always need a little deeper shade on the bronzer.
So it's nice to have a summer or winter shade.
This color is great.
And it gives you soft blurring.
And it's enough to give that natural sun kiss.
Gorgeous.
I'm doing the same on the other side.
So as you can see so far, I use this bronzer to keep a little color
by trying to make it more sculpted with the angle of the brush here.
But then I want a little bit more sun kiss on this.
So I'm just doing a little bit here, a little bit here.
First, very naturally, very little.
You see that?
I just dab, dab.
And then just sculpt a little bit of the nose.
Just a little bit here.
A little bit more color.
But still very subtle because I don't want it to make it too,
you know, brown or too sculpted or too contoured.
Because everything's still just very soft.
For eyebrow, I'm going to use two products from Anastasia Beverly Hills.
The first one, the Micro Stroke Brow Pen.
The shade I'm using is taupe.
Second one, their Brow Free Gel.
Melissa's eyebrow is beautiful.
It's a little thinner side because she tweezed when she was younger.
And it doesn't grow back.
But I think it suits her look.
You know what I mean?
And I'm not going to try to paint it on.
I'm just using the brow pen just to fill in a little gap area.
Like for example, here, you see in here, I would just put like one or two.
You know, for some one eyebrow like this, you want more a natural soft look.
I wouldn't want to go like trying to paint it on because it's going to look too heavy.
And the look, I'm doing more lip focus.
So I keep everything a bit softer on this as well.
And you see that just go here.
And I just feel like here and there, maybe a little more here.
You know, and you just create a few single hair.
Same on this side, whatever you think that needed.
And you just fill in a little more.
And that's all you do.
Just like you don't need to do too much.
You see, that's just really great.
I'm doing the same on the other side.
So you see, I just filled in a few little gap there.
That's all I did.
And wherever you see that needed, you just fill it in like that.
That's all.
And that's the great thing about the brow pen.
It doesn't look heavy at all.
And then I just use the brow gel to keep everything in place.
And this one is set and hold the eyebrow.
And it's not sticky and it's flake free.
Pretty easy to use.
For eyes, I'm only going to use these three products.
The first one is the Lisa Everge Blendable Liquid Lilac Eyeshadow.
The shade I'm using is called Maya.
The second product I'm using is Ravi Beauty Soft Definition Longwear Eyeliner.
The shade I'm using is called Umber.
For the mascara, I'm using Dior Show Over Volume Mascara.
This one is over black.
So basically, because I'm doing more lips focus,
so the eye keeps everything pretty soft.
So as you can see right now, I'm going to do just one and done.
Basically, that's the look I'm doing for the eyeshadow.
This one has a little shimmer.
So remember, these are longwear.
You have to apply pretty fast.
You know what I'm going to do?
Or you can apply one at a time.
Just a little bit of color and you blend it out.
And this is pretty lightweight eyeshadow.
But I can see, you can see that even it's set before I even blend out.
So it's better I recommend just do one eye at a time.
That way you don't have to like rush to blend so much.
And when it's set, you don't have to worry at all.
It doesn't go anywhere at all.
And the best way to do is this one here.
You do more intense on closer to the lash line.
And you can see that I just fade it out a little bit.
Like a little soft wash.
And the same on this side here.
Over here.
And this is very lustrous and sparkly finish.
So you just like very just a little bit only.
What I would recommend you to do.
You see that just one and done.
It's really gorgeous.
What I want to do is I would use a blending brush.
A smaller one like this.
And I do a little bit more intense on the lash line.
So it create a little more depth.
Just a little bit like that.
And I do mainly on the top.
I'm not going to do on the bottom.
And then make sure you use the blending brush.
And just blend it out.
A lot of people see like, you know, too many complicated eyes.
Confuse them.
They don't want to wear eyeshadow.
But if you do like this, it's pretty easy.
And what you can do, whatever left over.
You just blend a little bit on the bottom.
Just a little hint.
Or I can use this brush here.
Whatever left there.
Maybe on the corner as well.
See, you don't have to make it complicated with eye.
It's just simple.
I'm going to tight lining the upper lash line a little bit.
This is a long wear pencil.
It's waterproof.
You see that just do the inner waterline.
And you do basically the upper lash line.
And just a tiny bit right here.
I don't want like a line.
Just a little bit only.
This one is very natural finish.
And it is vegan and cruelty free.
And you see that I just blend it out the edge.
It's a little bit here.
Just give you that like tight lining that I'm trying to do.
And it's like I say, it's waterproof.
So basically one, you're done.
You blend.
It's set.
It doesn't budge at all.
And this is more warmer, reddish brown.
So it's really beautiful color.
You see that just give a little more lift on the eye.
You can look straight.
And then you just do a little bit more tight lining there.
You can see exactly where you put your liner.
I'm doing the same on the other side.
You see that I didn't put any eyeliner anywhere else at all.
If you want the eye a little stronger, more feline.
You can even put in the waterline.
But I just want a little bit on the top only.
I just want to elongate the eye.
And I want to keep them soft still.
Because again, we haven't done lips yet.
And that's where the focus is.
I'm going to curl the lashes a little bit first before I apply mascara.
And I always recommend people do it a little bit before doing mascara.
I know a lot of people don't curl their lashes.
And assume that the mascara will give you all the lift.
But you know what?
Curling the lashes, it does give you a lot of lift naturally already.
For this new Dior Show Over Volume Mascara.
This one provides extreme volume.
And they transfer proof and long wear.
And it's pretty black.
And for someone who wants, you know, really a lot of volume.
This is a great mascara for you.
I'm going to do two coats on the upper lashes.
And just one on the lower lashes.
You can see just one coat.
You can see there's a lot of volume already.
Yeah, I just want a little bit on the lower lash only.
So as you can see that the eye looks amazing.
When you look at the eye, you don't think it's like one shadow.
But it's clearly just one eye shadow.
You see that I do over.
And I do a little bit more intense on the lash line.
And then I put a little bit more of the brown liner.
Tight lining to, you know, to make the eye more depth on the very end there.
And you think this is the perfect way to wear eye makeup for strong lips.
For blush, I'm going to use Hang Van Go Beauty.
Very beautiful matte velvet blush.
The name says it all.
It's a very beautiful formula.
It's a very beautiful matte velvet blush that we use.
The shades I'm using is called Second Language.
This is our best selling shades.
I think it is sold out pretty much a lot of places.
This is the creamy powder blush.
So I wouldn't call it creamy.
This is more a velvety powder blush.
But because it's so velvety, people thought like it's creamy.
But it's more of velvety.
It gives you that beautiful soft matte finish.
I just want people to understand that between the velvety soft matte and matte finish.
Because I know there's some comments.
People say it's not matte.
It has a sheen in there.
Yes, that's why we call it soft matte.
Because it's not intense matte.
That's why I don't want to create a powder blush that people still look radiant without
look so flat.
So that's why it's soft matte.
That's the difference.
You know what I mean?
So if you hear the word matte doesn't mean that you have no life in the color.
So soft matte is they have a lot of life on the formula.
And this is a beautiful smooth and blurring finish.
I'm going to use this brush from BK Beauty.
This one you can use both for powder and a cream product.
And you can see the same thing with the brush.
I use dab, dab, dab.
And then blend on the cheek.
And the color is just absolutely gorgeous.
And it suits on everyone from pale to deep skin.
We try it on everyone.
And this color is very flattering.
You can literally choose the shades for almost every look.
Because it's a cool tone blush.
But it has a little warmth in there.
So it's actually very flattering on all skin tones.
You see that the difference from one side.
And it leaves that blurry finish as well.
Really gorgeous.
And I'm always a little shy to talk when it comes to this.
Because it's my own product.
But it truly one of the most beautiful blush you ever try for sure.
It is very pigmented.
So all you need, just a little.
You see that I've just dab, dab.
And that's all I need.
Do the same on this side.
For highlighter, I'm going to use Chanel Beauty Highlighting Powder.
The shade I'm using is number 10, Ivory Gold.
This is a radiant finish.
I'm using a smaller brush like this.
And this way I can focus exactly where I want to put the highlight in.
And it is more a creamy texture.
And it's sheer and beautiful.
I just want very subtle highlight.
So this is a great product for that.
Because it's a beautiful highlight.
But it's buildable.
So you don't put so much all at once.
So it's a great product for someone who do a little bit at a time.
Maybe I should do a little bit like this as well.
And it's a great highlighter for people who like to build.
Instead to do like a one swipe like, you know, sparkling right away.
Same on this side.
You can even use a finger for this as well.
You can see that.
You can just like that as well if you want.
Or you can use a brush.
For lips, I'm going to use two products from Hangbango Beauty.
The first one is accentuating long-wear lip liner.
And the second product is the creamy matte long-wear lipstick.
Both in the shade Vango Red.
This is the brand shade.
And everyone asked me to put it on camera.
I didn't have a chance yet.
So today I'm putting it on the camera.
Here's the thing.
I would like to explain to everyone about red lipstick.
Okay.
So one thing about red lipstick or any deeper lipstick.
It will naturally make your lips look a little bit thinner.
That's something people will like.
When you wear a dark lip color or red lipstick color.
It is a trickier shade to draw.
But I always people to overdraw a little bit.
Unless you don't mind your lips look thinner than the way it is.
Then you don't have to overdraw.
But I know the reason I'm saying this.
Because I know a lot of people have issues when I overdraw the lips.
And always like, why you need to overdraw the lips?
Why this?
Why that?
That's why I want to say it's upfront.
It's just when you wear dark lip color on the red lipstick.
The lip would tend to appear a little thinner.
So I'm always like to a little lift the lip up a little bit.
Before I even start to draw the lips color.
So that way you will see.
That's what I'm going to do next now.
She has beautiful lip shape.
If she will just a pink color or nude color.
You don't really need to overdraw anything at all.
But for red lipstick and to make it more impactful.
I always overdraw a little bit.
These are a long wear finish.
One is set.
It doesn't budge.
Okay.
And this is very pigmented.
It's smooth for applying.
And it is a matte finish.
So for this one, the best way I'm going to do.
Close your mouth a bit.
Yeah.
So basically I have the talent close the mouth.
And I just want to know exactly where I want to create a shape.
You can see that I overdraw a little bit here.
Just to create more fuller lips.
And then I fill in everything after.
And the next step I'm going to do.
I'm just lip right here.
I won't overdraw out here.
Because I want that still lip.
You know the nice shape of the lip.
But on the upper part.
You see that clearly I overdraw a little bit there.
You can see that.
It is overdraw.
But it doesn't look crazy.
But I know people always have issue about overdrawing.
I don't know why.
But it is just makeup.
You know you can play any way you want.
And I do the same thing on this side.
And then on the bottom.
I also overdraw a little bit here.
Turn this way.
And then I just draw from the corner.
Go down a little bit.
I'm doing the same on the other side.
For red lipstick.
Especially our long wear lip liner.
I recommend you fill in the whole lips with the liner.
Because in general.
If you eat and drink.
And you know if anything keeps.
You know like the lipstick a little fade off.
At least there's a lip liner in it there.
So the color you don't have to worry at all.
But I always do that.
Because our lip liner is long wear.
It doesn't budge at all.
And lipstick.
I mean it is longer wear than most lipstick.
But it's not like a liquid lipstick that doesn't move.
It's still gonna come off.
So I would recommend to do this.
With the lip liner.
And you see that I overdraw the shape quite a bit.
But you know I look great.
Because if I don't.
It's gonna be very narrow.
Because just red lipstick does make lips look a little smaller.
And you might ask.
Why are you direct the lipstick on?
Yeah we might give to Melissa.
The lipstick when she take home.
So I just want to see.
You know how you see the color.
Very pigmented.
It is a very super pigmented matte lipstick.
I call it creamy matte.
Because it's still very hydrating.
You see the color is just absolutely beautiful.
To set the makeup.
I'm going to use the new Say Beauty.
CD set lightweight setting spray.
This I have a great buzz about this setting spray.
So I want to try it.
This is the alcohol free hydrating setting spray.
It's long wear.
Apparently after 16 hours.
I will let you know in future video.
If it does wonder or not.
And it's really ultra fine mist.
So this can be my first impression as well.
That's the final look guys.
I hope you enjoy the look.
It's just like the way to do more a lip focus.
You can even like skip mascara.
If you want that even more softer.
But I think this is to make her eye look so big.
And you know elongate at the same time.
And the lips color is absolutely gorgeous on her.
