Welcome to Da Nang. Welcome to the cloudy day today. Again, it's somehow cloudy in the morning
until afternoon and then it usually gets nice and sunny and blue sky. But yeah, we're gonna
take a stroll now today a little bit further away from the, I mean it's still the Antuong area,
but it's a little bit further. I would say this is the more quiet area here
and I think there are new businesses opened up left and right there as well. So, we're gonna
check it out. As you never know, in these little side streets you might find a gem, a very good one.
Like this building here. It's now a four-story building and this was before a small little
bar, one floor. They demolished it and now they're building another apartment complex.
And we got here, this is also you can rent out there. I made a video there one time.
There's also apartments here.
But yeah, it's zigzag around here left, right and everything like that. Check out every street here.
So, it's very calm here, I would say. But also, they're demolishing a lot of old buildings and
building new ones. There's a street food stand here. Mi Quang Ek, that means Mi Quang with
frog noodles. Hey, what is that? Chen second hand. Okay, so this is a brand new house here. I'm not
sure if it's gonna be apartment or own family house. This also looks very nice here. Buffalo
stylish house. Also brand new. It's crazy. All those new places and meat. That's very interesting.
This was a coffee place, a banh mi and cafe in Son Tra. You know, they have one location here.
I heard it often that it's very good. Good banh mis, different kinds of banh mis.
We got bicycle rentals over there. Rio apartment. I think this is a group. There are several Rio
apartments here. There you can get some, maybe you can get something tailored here too. Not sure.
Or if they're just selling something. Check this out. What's going on here? Maybe this was,
wasn't that the old South African food place, a restaurant? They moved, I know that. Sadly,
they moved a little bit more south. Laundry, spas, stylish new buildings here. And Irini.
Irini, the Greek cafe and restaurant or bistro or something like that.
That is so weird. So Bro's cafe was here too. Now this is the laundry. Bro's cafe is on the
side only now. So Bro's cafe is still there, but this is a laundromat as well. This place is sadly
closed. And yeah, it was a very nice restaurant. Very tasty, but they didn't make it. Now it's a
bar and coffee. I have not tried out this one yet. It's like a gym. I don't think there's AC in
there. But let's walk the next street. All those streets. This is now Antung 11. Antung 11 guys.
And it seems like they are demolishing this house here, this building. Or is it renovating? I'm not
sure. This is a neighborhood where there's still lots of locals, but it's getting fewer and fewer
because they're demolishing their normal house and then they're building an
eight-story apartment block, which is smart to do also from the locals because they can just
live in one apartment and rent out everything so they don't have to work. But yeah, I'm not sure
who's buying all this lands here. About us, Coffee and Eatery. I think I had a coffee here one time.
And there's also the Last Hope bar. Antung 16 street, yeah. This is where we're gonna go.
Or should we go? Look at this cute dog. Yeah, let's do this street and then we're gonna
go back in Hoan Kivim. Look at this cute dog. Oh no, I don't want to do anything.
Laundromats. The Hummus House. Oh, that's interesting. So before the Hummus House was
there, there was a laundry, another laundry, a flower store. I bought flowers there once,
that's why I know it. Look at this, a brand new apartment building. That's interesting guys.
Right here. And they're building even more. Oh no, the flower store is still here. Never mind.
I haven't been here for a long time. This also looks pretty new. It's also apartment building
probably. There are so many here. So this is also a neighborhood that is so close to the beach guys.
So close to the beach. You can, from here, if you walk fast five minutes to the walk
and you're at the main beach in Da Nang. Drying garlic here. Sleepy dogs everywhere.
It's nap time, you know. The dog also has to nap.
Check this out. You can walk so far through all these alleyways here. Very interesting.
The tattoo place here on the left. What is more important than a tattoo place?
I have to go back here. Hello.
Oh, I like him. Such a nice guy. I gotta go back. But it's okay. I did a lot for him.
Check this out. I'd never walk in this street and I will not do it this time either. But check
this out. There are not that many motorbikes there anymore. That means the city is very,
very full. I think the last time I filmed here they had 30 to 50 motorbikes. So now it's maybe
eight or something like that. Eight maybe. The Mango, Little Mango. Very popular place.
So if you want to have your mango already done, everything in a cup,
it's the place. This, however, way more expensive. The Villa Group. So this is a real estate agency
called The Villa Group and it's here. But it's closed. Small little shops here. Nice and charming.
Not much going on here. Mini-marts, cosmetics, spas. Maybe you find...
Oh, look at this. Brio Urbano. Check this out. So they have now at least, guys, at least three
apartment buildings. They're called Brio Minerva, Brio something and this is Brio Urbano.
Interesting. Someone is expanding.
Someone said in the comments the Google Street View is so outdated and that's why he's watching
me. So shout out to you. You're getting the full experience today here. All because I have to
lose weight and I don't want to walk without doing something. It's just walking around
and not filming. I did it yesterday, though. And what the hell is this? It's just a yellow
building. Some kind of business will come in here. We will find out. And I have to try out
this Bun Mam place again. I think it was last year or one year ago I had it. It was a good soup.
They also have beautiful pork belly. This was Antung 16 and now we're going to Antung 15.
Check this out. More and more new buildings here. This is also a brand new building.
It's kind of crazy how many apartment buildings getting constructed here
and finishing slowly. This is also new and I don't think they're taking long to build this.
So the last time I was walking here there were just lots of construction sites
and now the majority is done. You have here the probably rat trap, rat things,
rat walls. Build a wall against the rats. Check this out. Oh wow. High ceilings.
The grumpy crib number two. Whoa look at this. Also brand new guys. Brand new condo building.
Does it even call condo building? Apartment building right? Apartment.
Condo? I don't know. 43 coffee. 43 is the number plate of Da Nang. So there you see a lot of
businesses calling 43. This looks like a pool villa. So what has changed in my my lovely
food street here? We will find out. I'm excited. This is still a street where you can have
local prices also from food wise. But of course it's not that comfortable.
The seats are low. The kitchen is outside on the street. But it's good.
And I only got in this street, I only got sick here once and it was from a dim sum place and
they're closed. And believe me I tried out so many dishes here. Also funky dishes,
funky food, everything. And I only got sick from a dim sum place one time.
It was all the way there and it was a one dollar dim sum place.
My lovely cheap English friend always went there and he was like oh mate it's one
it's one dollar for it's less than I quit for dim sum mate. So I went there and then I got sick.
But yeah they went out of business. That was good. I don't understand why the
Bundamamtom place is still in business. Kacke.
Oh vegan rice place. So sad to see this place closed. This was actually a good
Bundamamtom place. But now I don't know what they're building here.
But something they do. But it seems like it's not that big priority to finish it.
This was also very sad. There was a Bankan place here. Very good. Nice family. Very nice.
Grumpy man. Always looking grumpy. But very very nice guy. If you smile at him he smiles
back and very friendly. He's just grumpy because he's a good cook. If they're too friendly they
don't it's not a good food. They have to be. If someone is cooking and looking friendly I don't
know. You cannot trust them. So lots of places here when they cook they're focused on their
craft. It smells bad here. And then they look a little bit grumpy. Which is a very good sign.
If I see a grumpy cook here in Vietnam I go in. This is the Antung church here.
I don't know what the flags are for. Yellow, white, white and blue.
White and red. Is this church colors? I don't understand it. I don't understand.
But yeah we're gonna walk here again and check out also this street. Because then we
take a look at every single block here. What has changed. And it's a lot.
Lots of spas here in the street. This is also still popular.
I like this. You know what? I think every tourist should only be allowed to drive
electric vehicles. I said it. Only electric vehicles for tourists. I think it would
eliminate so much problems of noise pollution. The moon hotel and apartment. I love the moon
apartment. The lobby. I don't think the apartments. It's good. It's not my thing. But
the lobby is the best from every condo building here. There's a new spa here. Hello.
Nice. New spa opened up here. This is a camel I think. No it's not a camel. Something else.
Interesting. Lots of wheels here. I think they're used. And look at this. How there's
no more profile on it. Okay. Okay bro. It's okay bro. Jesus Christ. Oh I'm sorry sister.
You're a cute girl. Okay. I'm not gonna touch your wheels again. But what is happening here?
This is Dubai Auto. They're actually tuning here the VF3s that I love so much.
Not sure what's happening here. Banmi Hongwon. Okay.
Zest Home. You know one thing I'm missing here in Da Nang is a construction cover. Like
have the construction nicely covered for like six meters or something.
So all the dust and trash and stones are not flying into the
street. So you always. Please. Please guys. If you want to drive motorbike in Vietnam.
Believe me. Buy yourself some glasses. If you have a glasses anyways. Good. If it's sunny
use sunglasses. And if it's not sunny in the evening use see-through glasses. Believe me.
The amount of dirt is in the air if you're driving through the streets here. Because of
this construction sites. And sometimes some small stones flying around. Everything. Super dangerous.
Or a cockroach is flying into your eye or something. Believe me. Guys. Wear glasses.
And if you have problems with your air. Then wear also something that protects your mouth
from breathing in all the dust particles. So maybe like a bandana or something. Just something in
front of your face. Or ideally if you drive further. Buy yourself a proper helmet.
Usually if you drive slow. A small helmet may be okay.
But if you drive somewhere far away. Get yourself a proper helmet. If you drive faster.
Like in between cities. Get yourself a proper helmet guys. All right guys. Thank you so much
for watching. Please don't forget to like and subscribe to this channel. It's free.
One like goes further away. I know you're watching on TV. So go one time up and press the like.
See you on the next walk. Thank you so much and goodbye.
