Love oracle cards flip through review

Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel. I'm the City Witch. So I have an oracle deck review for you guys today. This is the Love Oracle Cards by Island Time Wellness and it's a 54 card deck with keywords. Now there wasn't a lot described about this deck when I looked at it on eBay through the seller I bought it from but I think this might have been done by Australia because they use the word stokes on the back of the box. The box itself is pretty basic, poor quality if you ask me. It's really thin. Also mine arrived damaged so I don't know if you can see that guys but the corner is actually smacked in. Now that could be due to the mail service they used to ship it to me however I will say straight away all they did was pop this inside a envelope that had your basic padding. They didn't extra pad this in any way and as the box is pretty weak that's probably why it's become damaged so I would have preferred them to have wrapped it a little bit better. The artwork appears to be clip art kind of style on the box so I don't know what the deck is like on the inside but we'll have a look in the moment. On the back it says we're super stoked for our love oracle cards. This cute and fun love oracle deck really gets to the heart of the matter and fast. Getting a clear answer to your most pressing love questions is a breeze with this love-centered oracle. Your love readings just got crazy good. So yeah okay so pretty basic description and I think that's probably a fair description as well because they have focused this specifically on love so let's have a look at the cards and see what we've got. Okay so the cards are a little bit damaged in the corner there. I don't know if you guys can see that very well but the corner's a little bit bent. Looks like a couple of them are like that and then it stops so I may be able to flatten that out and save them but we'll see. I paid about £7 for these on ebay so they weren't that expensive so I'm not going to bother returning them because obviously they were fairly cheap. The card quality is pretty thin. The back of cards have the same design as the box. The artwork I was right looks very cliparty. They've used this black grey white kind of theme on the cards which is okay I don't mind that but considering it was a love oracle you would have thought they'd have gone with pink or red as a theme but let's see how the cards are and what they look like guys. So the first card we've got is twin flames and I'll read you what each card says on it so you have a good idea and show you the card one at a compliment each other. The writing style isn't very easy to read. I'm not sure I like the statement other woman. I think that could have been you know an enemy or a rival would have been a better statement because you know other woman could be other man so I'm not sure I like that last statement but I can always work with that. So to me that's somebody that's fear of commitment that is running away from responsibility and would rather not take a relationship to the next level so I can see how that card would be very useful in a reading. The phoenix new phase rekindle, renew, transform, growth, changed mind. Again if they're going to use the phoenix the most common thing that comes to mind is rising from the ashes so I'd have included that statement but I guess again you can come up with these things yourself but that would have been a prominent statement to put on here to me you know rising from the ashes of a you know failed relationship or something chaotic and traumatic. The grim reaper, the relationship is over, no second chances, grow and transform your life. That's a pretty harsh way of saying your relationship's dead move on. I do like the symbol of the grim reaper though. Golden mirror, self-absorbed, narcissist, one-sided relationship, love bombing. The dragonfly, be light-hearted, finding out, things come into light, adapt, change and heal. So that's kind of like your truth card. The chaser, chaser in co-dependent relationship, fear of abandonment and issues. Butterfly, relationship evolving to the next phase, healing the inner child and growth. That's nice too. Talking, interested, conversing more, awaiting messages, arriving, text, call, email, hovering. Okay so that's basically a communication card. Sunglasses, watching, looking, stalking, gaslighting, perception, focus, focusing out. Not sure what that last statement's supposed to mean but hey ho, I'll work with it. Stabbed in the back, heartbreak, pain, separation, deception, shocking attack. Okay. Soulmates, soul connection, partnership, agreement, soul contract. That's nice too. Separation, sadness, missing you, talking about it, yearning, unsure future. Self-indulgence, focus on yourself, self-worth, time to heal, shadow work, self-application. That's a good one too. Seduction, attraction, flirting, dating, hooking up, temptation, third-party interferences. Photograph, looking at your photos, missing you, nostalgia, make new memories. Passion, insane chemistry, like each other equally, having fun. Paradise, happiness, expansion, joy, playfulness, oneness, enjoying each other. That's nice. Palm tree, stability, security, performance, growth, endurance and flexibility. Not today, oh I like the symbol of that where he's holding the phone well away from him, that's cool. Not dealing, hurt, avoiding a conversation, call or person, boundaries, still angry. I can see how I'd use that one straight away. Not enough, frustrated in a relationship, lack of confidence, self-sabotage, fear, ego issues and jealousy. There's some pretty good darker cards in this I have to say that make you reflect upon negative aspects of yourself during a relationship. We've got mirror card, mirroring each other, self-image, relationships reflect our wounds, introspection. Mask, not showing true feelings, hide, personify, pretend, delude, gaslighting. So that's kind of like your trickster or someone you shouldn't trust, so lies and hidden secrets. Oops did I show you that one guys? Pick that up and show you that, sorry. And we've got the love card, unconditional love, self-love, oneness, passion, affection and attraction. Love call, someone expressing love, a message of love, thinking of you and letting you know. That's a positive card of some messages coming in. Lightning, sudden change, shocking news, surprise, empathy, upheaval and transformation. Kisses, unconditional, loving, giving and receiving affection, falling in love. Keys on a ring, many options, decisions, unconditional, string along, I'd have put strung along there, not string along, one night stand. I would also say because keys to me are symbols of unlocking things and things that are deliberately being kept from you, so I'd have gone with a different symbolism personally. Karmic relationship, fleeting, triggers, turmoil, resentment, lessons, letting go and loving you. I like you, someone likes you, romance is blooming, fun, flirting, want to date. Heartbroken, deeply hurt, sad, separation, breakup, feeling lost, grieving and mourning. Heart with a key, I'd have put key to my heart personally. Welcoming, love, meeting the one, open your heart, getting together, perfect. Yeah I'd have definitely put key to my heart for that. Healthy choices, making healthy choices in love and in life, self-love, self-care, being happier. Healing heart, healing from heartbreak, freedom from toxic relationships or addictions. Hand of cards, take a chance, risk, being strategic, options, not showing your hand, hammer, sabotage, rebuilding, integration, repetition, persistent, working on it. So it's kind of like your hard work card or if it's you know negative it's about you know breaking something down and you're destroying bridges and connections. Then we've got girl with a snake, empathy and narcissist paradigm, being charmed or used, enable, boundaries, that's an interesting card. Talk girl, time with friends, moving on, happily single, living in the moment, having fun. Oh sorry girl talk not talk girl, can't read today guys. Engagement ring, engagement, partnership, commitment, eternity, completion and union. I don't think that one's necessary because they already have like the engage you know the wedding ring ones so I don't think that's really necessary. It's exactly the same message as the other one to me. Dating, meeting someone new, dating, getting back out there, plan, set a date. Cupid's arrow, have faith, love is coming, surprise, invitation or meeting, hesitation. Coffin, endings, bring new beginnings, growth, change, liberation and transformation. Coffee cup, meeting and conversing, savouring the moment, feeling uplifted and friendship. Clock, need time, takes time, in time, cycles, time to heal and progress. So that's kind of like your patience card. Oh cassette tape, outdated thinking, conditional, replaying events over in your head. Okay so that's kind of like you know self-sabotaging card and overthinking the past and being in denial I guess. Okay the next card is camera. So the camera says reminiscing, keepsakes, perception, learning from the past and make memories. So the cassette is kind of like the negative impact of thinking about the past and dwelling on it but the camera is positive. So you've got like opposites there, I like that. Boat, receiving what you need, progression, arriving, moving on, closure of issues. That's cool. Breakup, separation, stop the pattern, silent treatment, abandonment. So that's about negative patterns and cycles that repeat themselves. Ascending, transcending obstacles, learning, expansion, new phase, preparing for union. So this one's about working through an issue and coming out the other side on top. So that's your positive to the axe card. Addiction, co-dependence, obsession, possession, controlling, has a block, restraint. And abundance, keep a positive mindset, manifest exactly what you want and gratitude and bliss. And that's all the cards guys. So the cards are pretty basic with their symbolism but I like the messages on them. There's a number of these that I can see that I would use. I would definitely say that this deck is well balanced with enough negative and positive cards and I would say they've covered a lot of aspects of a relationship that people probably don't want to know about or hear about such as you know self-sabotaging, being needy and greedy, you know dwelling on the past and you know probably not going to want to hear that their relationship is dead and it's over but perhaps some of the cards in here have been included for that very reason that they need to be told about these things and many oracles I find don't do that they're too airy-fairy for my liking. But I like how controversial these are and how different they are so I would definitely use them. I could see that they would be amazing for spell work as well because some of the words on them are brilliant you know especially with like separation and stuff and you know working through personal issues you know so self-love spells would work wonders with these I think. So overall I'd probably score these pretty low at about a 5 out of 10 guys mainly because they are poor quality cliparty pictures and the boxes you know pretty basic didn't pay a lot for them but I think they're going to work well for what I want to use them for so yeah hopefully I'll be doing some readings for you guys in the future and you'll see there's a bit more on my pages like my Instagram and my Facebook.
