Alongside a laundry list of accolades, Mike Tirico made his debut as the lead play-by-play announcer for @nfl Super Bowl LX on @nbc alongside Cris Collinsworth.
Immediately following Super Bowl LX, Mike Tirico flew out to Milano Cortina to cover and close out the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in true Legendary, Mike Tirico style! "Our country loves sports and it brings us together unlike anything else."

I'm here with the legend, Mike Tirico. Thank you so much for taking time for me here at the Allen Alpensports Public Show.
Before I get to the football, I gotta ask you, how was it going to Michael Jordan's house and interviewing the coach?
Yeah, it was great to interview Michael. Michael's one of a kind.
He's still as magnetic and dynamic and exciting a personality as anyone you'll come across in the world.
And to hear Mike talk basketball is an absolute treat, something I'll never, ever forget.
And I hope we get a chance to do it again sometime down the line.
It's always a possibility then that you might.
This wasn't the end of the world. The world's still going to go.
So if Mike wants to talk again, hopefully he had a good time with us and he can come visit with us.
And Mike, how many Super Bowls have you done so far and is it still fun for you?
This is the first one I've gotten a chance to call. I've been to about 25.
Four on the studio side, hosting the studio show, pregame, halftime, postgame for Super Bowl 56.
First one I get to call and they're all exciting. They're all special in their own way.
This one a little bit more for me.
And being that it is the first time, are you going to be yourself?
Are you going to put a little more pressure on yourself?
Well, if you've done something 500 times and have called about 500 football games,
you want to call it the way you've called the other ones.
But the things around you do require a little bit more time and a different set of circumstances
in preparing for the pregame and all that.
But once you get into the game, football game breaks out, you just do your job.
And basically that's what the players need to do too.
Just do their job and the best team will win, right?
Yeah, it's two great teams. Two teams out of the game.
Anybody expected getting to the Super Bowl, maybe Seattle.
Ten wins in a good season the year before.
Certainly not New England all for two full wins.
The joy of sports. Don't know who you're going to get.
We've got two worthy teams to decide the championship.
