Mobile Lighting Project - Lighting Solution

Improve safety, increase energy efficiency, and reduce costs. These are all the things that the City of Mobile, Alabama has addressed in updating their old and inefficient lighting. To keep things simple, the City wanted to minimize the number of SKUs to complete the project. Cooper Lighting Solutions was able to utilize one fixture type for all the various roadway applications, the StreetWorks Navion. The Navion Lumiere offers a wide variety of optical distributions and features, making it a great solution for roadway and high-mass applications. Another key requirement for the City was for the new light fixtures to allow for fast and easy maintenance. Since the project was in high traffic areas, this helps minimize interruptions to traffic and helps keep their contractors safe by getting them on and off the job quickly. The project also called for 20 kV surge protection and a weight consideration for older high-mass structures. The Navion was able to easily eliminate these concerns to get the job done. From roadway to high-mass, efficient LED lighting can improve safety, increase energy efficiency, and reduce costs.
